Hi Tim,
Thanks for your extensive answer.
Until acquiring this front sight I only had 'simple' front sights, without any options other than changing the metal insert.
With your info I now know what the different options of this kind of sight are.

Anschutz foresight
Hi all,
I recently bought an Anschutz 6702 (version with the transparent markings for adjustment) together with an Anschutz front sight.
Attached are some pictures of it.
Does anyone has any info on the type of this front sight? It fits an 11mm dovetail rail.
Kind regards,
Buck

Re: Steyr LP1 grip insert/spacer
Thank you for your answer. So the insert is completely in the back of the grip? Behind the metal rod? I can't fit the grip in a comfortable position without it touching the sights, which make the gun shoot way to high. Does someone know if there are differences between Steyr grips from different gen...

Steyr LP1 grip insert/spacer
Hi everyone I recently removed the grip of my Steyr lp1, and I have a question about a metal insert that was positioned in the grip. It is U shaped, approx 27mm long, 20mm wide and 2mm thick (see pictures). I can't see it on the exploded view of the LP1. It's clearly different from the 'Distance pla...

Old Anschutz sight
Hello everyone I recently bought an old Anschutz iron sight set for approx 30 euro (+-33USD). Now was i wondering if it is possible to know which model it is, it hasn't any numbers on it, only the brand name. (see pictures). Is there anything that i can do to compensate potential wear and tear on th...

Re: Steyr LP1 dryfire question
I contacted Steyr Sport about it (send some pictures of the cam etc), and they think a new cam will fix it (there was a bit of wear and tear on it).
So I'll try that, and let you know if it resolved the issue.

Re: Steyr LP1 dryfire question
Thanks for your quick answer.
The screw of the cam is/was tight though, and the part itself looks alright, no visible damage, so I wonder if changing it does anything.

Steyr LP1 dryfire question
Hello everyone i recently bought a steyr LP1 secondhand. I'm very pleased with the pistol overall, but i have a 'problem' with the dry firing function. Sometimes it works just great, you only hear the little spring noise inside, but sometimes you hear a noticeable 'pop' of air releasing. I can't rea...

Steyr LP1 CO2 conversion
Hello everyone someone has offered me a Steyr LP1 which was converted from CO2 tot compressed air, and I have some questions about it. He claims the valve and springs are also changed in this conversion. Is the pistol then the same a standard LP1 which was built in the factory for compressed air? I'...
