It is a fact that a slower velocity bullet is more accurate in the wind.
Why is this? Thank you.

Re: Hand falling asleep
when I started shooting smallbore,12 years ago, the same thing happened. A doctor told me I had carpel tunnel syndrome and would need surgery. began doing hand strengthening exercises with a tennis ball and that helped a lot. never did have surgery. went to a licensed medical massage therapist and s...

Re: Anschutz barrel measurements
you buy a cheap measuring tool, chances are you'll get an erroneous measurement.
find someone who has a quality tool because,
if you're off by a few thousandths, it won't fit (don't ask me how I know this).

did you try to give your old barrel a real good scrubbing with bronze wire brush?

Re: Budget optics for prone rifle?
Since you really like (?) the scope you have now, you might want to call Optical Services Co., Santa Teresa, Texas, and talk to Cheryl Ackerman. She and her dad own the company. They rebuild scopes of all kinds. Tell her what you need, etc., and maybe she can rebuild your scope ("maybe" be...

Re: Finger placement question
Not having the experience or expertise that so many in here do, I can tell you that you want to place your finger where ever it is, so that when you pull back on mister trigger, you pull straight back. This is why some pistols have an adjustable trigger... meaning you can move it back and forth and ...

Re: Barrel break in
22 bullets are made of lead... a "soft" metal..
imo: clean the barrel, run 20 or so "foulers" thru it, run a couple of patches thru it, a few more foulers; have fun shooting.

nemo: everyone's eyes are different. don't let someone else tell you what you should be using. do your own experiments and trials and see what works best for you. this is not a "one size fits all" situation. wish you good shooting !!

Re: S&W Model 41 Trigger Weight
before opening the pistol up, why not get an "expensive spring tester" or at least find someone else who has a trigger weight tester, to confirm the weight. even at some of the tournaments, the trigger weight testing equipment comes up with variances.

Re: Rink Grip
Suggest going to their website: https://www.formgriffe.de/en/ Additionally, you might consider getting the hand measurements your friend used for his or her grip, and then asking Rink to use those measurements to buy a grip for your pistol. Having said this, if you shoot a different pistol than your...

Re: Scammer has scammed-pleasehelp
I stand to be corrected, but if the sale was transacted across state lines, then I believe that makes it a federal offense.
If so, contact the ATF. Wish you the best.
