Re: Powder Scale Recommendations
This re buying a used electric scale: I bought an RCBS electric scale awhile back. Worked great for about 2 years, and then it stopped working. Since it had a "guarantee" I called them up to see what could be done. They could not fix it and the warranty was for only one year.... "toug...

Re: Wifi camera used for target monitors
I'm "video camera challenged" and need something to enable me to see my 22LR bullet holes at 100 yards in the shade. There is no electrical source available on the range, so all equipment would need to be powered by batteries. I do have an Apple smartphone. The target is about four feet hi...

grip for Ruger 22/45
Have an older style Ruger Mark III, 22/45 model. it's a nice pistol and would like to shoot bullseye with it. problem is the grip.... it's too small. seems like there ought to be a way to "bulk up" the grip but it does NOT have the removable side panels. Is there some way I could mold a gr...

Re: Walther LG400 junior rifle
look at the "join date" for a clue.....
someone joins and then quickly has something for sale .....
sounds like someone out for a fast buck !!
also, if Joel (see above) had a conversation with Hannah (the seller), then this should be investigated....

Azmodan... thank you for a very informative post. sure wish I had known about this. of all the research I did, nothing I found said anything about what you have referenced here. I might also take this opportunity to thank you for being supportive and helpful rather than being some ***** who calls ot...

Re: For olympic 10m pistol, how do people use up the entire 75 minutes for 60 shots?
being "an old person" and not having the strength to shoot 60 shots in 75 minutes, my interest in air pistol was ruined from the beginning. shame because it sure was fun and enjoyed the shooting. the air pistol folk ought to have "something" for us seniors that will take into acc...

Re: How do you keep it fun ?
this FWIW (for what it's worth). many people equate "practice to improve" with going to the range and doing the same thing again and again. that can really get tedious and boring. it's been said that "practice makes perfect," but in my opinion (imo) that's only to a point. attitu...

Re: Patched vs. two eyes
Here is an EXCELLENT list of eye-shooting articles by a Dr. Wong.
If you're truly interested in this topic, then read ALL these articles.
Wong is an eye doctor and a very good shooter so he understands the issues.
Wish you all the best.

If you posted a city you live in or near, perhaps someone close by might be willing to help you. If you'd rather do it yourself, get a copy of book called "Ways of the rifle 2009," it's worth every cent. Go to web site: https://www.creedmoorsports.com/product ... ifle/Books

Re: muzzle velocity vs accuracy
to "spektr" re your explanation.....THANK YOU for a very fluent explanation of the relationship between muzzle velocity and point of impact. Have always wondered about this. Do you think that a muzzle velocity of 1080 vs 1055 is significant enough to affect the point of impact enough to be...
