Nah! Not me!
I can appreciate well played banjo music, but not convinced that is suitable as background to a competition.
Season's greetings to all.

So, I just have to ask. Is there an "Immature Age" competition? ;-)
'Juniors' are under 60

Re: Aging and Score Decline

We run a monthly 'Mature Age' competition at the Sydney Olympics range: using age groups rather than grades.
The shooters that were better than I back in the 70s and 80s are still beating me (but our scores are somewhat lower).

FEG GPM -02

Is there anyone out there with a FEG GPM -02 that can measure the height of the front sight? Got mine out of the safe to have a plink and the front sight blade is missing. Either the height protruding above the muzzle shroud, or the overall dimension from the bottom of the shroud to the top of the b...

Re: Opinions on Scoring, Challenges

Humidity affects target dimensions and this, in turn, can change the shot value given by a target reading 'machine' if the target moisture content changes. While this will not alter a 10.9, the further out the shot, and the greater the change in moisture content of the target paper between the shot ...

David Moore is driving back from our Australian Pistol National Championships - no doubt he will be able to advise when He gets home.

Anybody else have suggestions to help?

Re: Cleaning lead dust ?

Re vacuum cleaners:

Be aware that many vacuum cleaners draw air through the collector (Bag and/or cyclone), then use that air to cool the motor.

It can be VERY spectacular if any lead dust gets onto the motor wiring.

Oh, the joy of being a moderator...

There is usually a delay before I find that the site has been spammed as I am in Australia and don't check the site until I have had my first cup of coffee for the morning.

Re: It really is the little things......

The ISSF lighting specs are only at the targets and the firing line. I don't think there is any requirement for the light levels anywhere else. Even if they meet the specs, that means each range will be a little different. As long as your pistol sights and your target are illuminated consistently, ...
