Re: Anschutz 1913 vs Walther kk300?????
So their both good but it is easier to get parts for anschutz. Okay. Any other pros, cons? Walther rifles come with sights included. I own a KK300 Anatomic it's really adjustable and come with premium butt plate and sights. One thing that I don't like much of this Walther rifle is the cheek piece a...

Re: FWB 2700 Super-match or Walther KK300?
I am looking to purchase a new small bore rifle for my son but am torn between the Walther KK300 and the FWB 2700 supermatch. The Walther is $500 cheaper and I am not sure why or what the major differences are. Any ideas or suggestions on the difference between the two would be helpful and also int...

Re: Smallbore staying in Bristol thru 2020
It would be great if CMP could get the Championship away from the NRA. Not likely to happen since competitive shooting is a cash cow for the NRA. The issue with th CMP taking the smallbore competition is that it would drastically reduce the number of shooters competing within the United States as t...

Re: Ammo question
A little update, I shoot a KK300 Anatomic, so far have shoot low to mid and ammo (Federal Match 711B, RWS Target Orange box, SK Standard Plus, SK Rifle Match) all these ammo are almost undistinguishable at 50 yards, the might group in different parts of the target but they all group at 30-65 mm. Two...

Re: My KK500 has arrived (in California)
After a long wait my KK500 has arrived! Many thanks to McKenna Shooting Sports for securing one for me and to Walther Arms as well. As I understand I'm currently one of only three shooters with a KK500 in the USA. http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t165/champcarstar/Smallbore%20Stuff/20160401_18033...

Re: Anschutz 9015 Precise
Is it true they are making this rifle? And what are thoughts about it? It has already been made and its for purchase in some retailer, although their main focus is on the ONE stock, which they are testing with the 9015, they might implement a version of the ONE stock for the smallbore rifles specia...

Re: Question about ISSF Clothing?
There isn't any difference in the rules they have to pass, but depending on how the jacket was cut you might have issues placing the buttons. If it's an off-the-peg model you'll probably be fine, but if it was made to measure for a particular woman then it will come down to her body shape and how a...

Question about ISSF Clothing?
I have been trying to buy a standard size shooting clothing set, but due to my measurements it has been almost impossible to acquire one, there is a great deal in the buy sell ads here that would fit me, but its a women's suit. Is there any differences when it comes to ISSF rules between women and m...

Re: Torben Grimmels sunglasses
Here's the closeup pic. I know the rules on side and front blinders are pretty strict. Not sure how they apply these rules to sunglasses. Not seen them used before but surely they offer a lot more ability to tailor the light entering both eyes hence a good advantage over blinders. torben.jpeg After...

Re: Torben Grimmels sunglasses
The sunglasses seem to be a new development. That was not as interesting as his new rifle. Great to see the KK500 in action so soon since it's introduction and used to achieve top spot on the podium. I hadn't seen the final until I saw your comment, amazing what that rifle can do. Now I am so glad ...

anyone known the difference between use extension tube or not The objective of using extension tubes is to increase the sight radius in order to fucus better on the target, although there is another use which is to make the transition from different distances by reducing the amount of clicks by dis...

Re: Walther KK300 Anatomic Question
I, too, just bought an Anatomic. I do not have that smudge above the proof mark. The front sight is not adjustable, I added one. The rifle comes with 3 different inserts. Your other questions were correctly answered as far as I can see. I've only had one chance to use it so far, but I am very happy...

Re: Walther KK300 Anatomic Question
my issue due to the bluing is that it wasnt made in a rush but rather one they had lying around, after looking at the proof mark it kind of confirms it its BE so its a "new" 2014 rifle bought in 2016. the Test target seems pretty good its grouping its about 3/4 the size of a dime, will hav...

Re: Walther KK300 Anatomic Question
The mark that I am talking about is not the proof mark, what i am referring to is right above it, looke like a smudge but around the black part right above the eagle.

Walther KK300 Anatomic Question
Hello everyone. Yesterday I just receive my new Walther KK300 Anatomic in the meantime that a KK500 is available in the United States. I have always been shooting Anschutz before, but after doing some research I came to the conclusion that this one would be a better deal than getting a 1907 or 1913 ...
