Re: 5 rounds magazine in small bore rifle?
If you're thinking of a rifle, and maybe want a magazine, look at the biathlon rifles, they use 5 shot magazines. Also you can get a magazine adapter, which is usually red, sort of a dummy magazine which just provides a flat tray in the loading area (doesn't hold any rounds), thereby turning the rif...

Re: Best Lube for air guns
Mobil 1 is a synthetic motor oil. I’ve been using it for over 10 years with no problems. Was taught this by the US Army Marksmanship Unit. Doesn’t build up, never dries out. Never had a firearm fail because of it. And that’s at least 100,000 rounds. Do you have it in Australia? A quart lasts a life...

Re: Best Lube for air guns
when you say Mobil 1, do you mean engine oil? That is not a good idea as motor oils have all kinds of detergents in them which will not do your firearm metals any good at all. You want a weapon grade oil.

Re: sight riser question
you dont want to raise the whole rifle because this is raising the centre of gravity, and will increase sway. The idea behind risers is to keep your head more upright, which lends better balance.

yes, as you have pointed out there is no rule that stops you using two (or three) different gloves. And indeed if you have a trigger hand glove, you may be using three different gloves :)

Walther KK300 barrel weight
Hi, I have a KK300 Anatomic, pretty much the last one built before they were end of sale'd. I noticed the other day when looking at someone's KK300 Alutec that their barrel seems a fair bit lighter-weight, even visibly a smaller diameter, although I haven't measured either of them. There are a coupl...

Re: Walther KK500 trigger issue - not releasing firing pin
why are they checking your trigger weight at equipment control? There is no minimum trigger weight according to ISSF rules.Habhome wrote:jhmartin wrote:... I even bring them to equipment control in case they accidentally fire when checking the trigger weight.

Re: KK300 Trigger Blade Adjustment
there is a set screw inside the hollow trigger stem. Its either 2mm or 2.5mm (cant remember) but be careful, being so small it would be easy to round it off. So put your allen wrench in from the bottom of the trigger stem.

seems a few people have had trigger issues with KK500. Have a read of this, and also a further search might be useful;

Turbo 3P rifle
Anyone here used a turbo 3p rifle? The action has a great reputation in bench, the full 3p rifle looks like good value too.

Re: Run out of windage
I have a LG400 also. I would guess your extension tube is not correctly aligned. The two little grub screws have recesses in the carbon fibre for them to seat. Remove the tube, and you will see teh two little holes. And please, use a light touch on the screws!

Re: Preparing barrel for a sight extension / bloop tube
As well as cleaning the tube, the primary reason is to clean the most important place on your rifle for accuracy - the crown.

Re: Consistent sight picture
The above description is for 50M prone. This sight picture problem does not happen in 10M air rifle, nor in 20M prone. My guess is, for 20M it is because there is only 10 shots (plus sighters) before you're getting up to go down range and change the target, so the eyes have time to rest. For 10M air...
