Re: Odds of Free Pistol Being Cancelled; Effect on Competiti
And replace it with gay events like snowboard, curling and all that other crap? FP60 and AP60 are totally two different events. Many who do well in AP suck in FP, because FP is much harder. Also, what the f^#k is with this equality talk bullshit? You do know every guy shoots better than every girl r...

Re: the changes are slow to reach the shooting line
Just so you know, the guy who held the world record from 1989 til 2009 shot 595 in Germany in 1995 with a CO2 pistol. The competition was this one.
It does not count towards a world record, because it's not sanctioned by the ISSF. Would he change to air? He still shoots his CO2 pistol today^^

Re: the changes are slow to reach the shooting line
Why would you change??? I'm still on windows 7! Everything works fine? People who get new stuff on the first day are the idiots who always run into problems. We could however see the EVO, because of sponsorship etc, but not because the athlete chose to shoot the evo instead of his older LP10. New =/...

Re: Five Shooters Earn 2016 U.S. Paralympic Team Nominations
I watched a couple of Paralympics air pistol videos and I remember being sad... they all shoot better than me, despite being at a disadvantage. Many shot close to a 10 average per shot... Jesus Christ!

Re: Anyone Put a Rink Grip on a Walther LP400?
Normally, everyone needs the 7 degree (or some sort of) offset, because your shoulder is located to the right of the eye-target line, so you are sort of looking at the pistol from the left side, which means the front sight is always to the left a bit. Most of us correct it using the wrist. It works,...

Re: Feinwerkbau P44 review
thanks for the update. Yesterday I had the P44 in my hand for the first time, I liked the grip (was a standard FWB grip of a black model). But I didn't shoot it.
It's nice to hear updates, they're always welcome

Trouble putting on the O-Ring
I actually never had trouble, but this one won't stretch enough! I'm sure it's the right one, I got it from them directly, and I measured it, it's the right size. It's very small and as hard as plastic.
Is there a trick I don't know of? My fingers hurt!!!

Re: What is the Most Used Pellet for 10m Pistol at the Olymp
Most use the R10 heavy pellets. Jin Jong Oh uses R10 .53g pellets. I know it because the RWS website sometimes boasts Athletes using their pellets after they win medals. (pistol shooters use eley tenex) Whether he indeed uses them IDK. The Chinese probably use the Qiang Yuan. However, many factory t...

Re: ISSF Music
What Ulrich forgot to mention is that the German so called Bundesliga looks like a monkey house, with spectators having nothing to look at start jumping around screaming. There are barely any videos of it on youtube because it's unwatchable. It's pure crap. It's so popular, because the participation...

I totally agree Hate the music!very annoying I just put on ear plugs while watching ehm... you could just turn off the volume Agree music is annoying. They should allow commentator talk while they shoot. Fast reaction of the commentator makes all the difference. A good example of a good final is th...

we normally use custom made weights, old clothes hanger that's made of metal, and three cans filled with used pellets. You can remove one can, set up first stage, 2nd separately. >>>> Not my picture, google helped me I have the same thing made as well as others on this forum but I can't find the pic...

Re: Disqualified at Canadian Grand Prix. Any help is appreci
different temperature, humidity etc have an effect on trigger parts and increase/reduce friction and spring properties. Some people use 550g, and win Championship, Olympics and set new records with 50g over the needed.

Re: Industry - Summary of Proposed 2017-2020 ISSF Rules Chan
if they want to make air pistol/rifle finals more exciting, they should consider dropping athletes after every shot, not two shots. In the current format, one of those 2 shots always steals some tension. They realized their huge mistake of dropping people after only 8 shots and increased the number ...

mine don't leak (after several weeks stay at 200 bar), and I have new o-rings in the Steyr and have always had it. No problem with the pistol otherwise.

Re: Running out of clicks
While Steyr's clicks are more than enough. For whatever reason you need it, you can use higher front sight. Experiment with glueing a piece of dark paper on the front side that is slightly higher and see if it works. The front sight being higher the gun will shoot much lower. If it does work, ask so...
