Re: Monard Suit Q's

Yes, you can put together your suit with the colours you wish to use and view it.

That's how I put mine together and the finished product was better than i expected.

Re: Monard Suit Q's

I would recommend the Standard then. It will get the job done until you get to University. Then depending on where you end up you'll most likely end up with a new Hitex suit. :)

Re: Monard Suit Q's

I made the switch from Kustermann to Monard earlier this year and I've been very pleased with it. I wear the Monard Super suit which is all canvas and leather. Is the suit for three position or just air rifle? Each suit can be customized to a degree. I like the Super which offers the ability to repo...

Walther KK500 Video Review

Hello everyone, I just recorded a very informal video talking a little bit about my Walther KK500 smallbore rifle. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qaw675HtWtQ Please forgive the amateur quality of the video and commentary. I just decided to record it after finishing my training today at the range. T...

Re: Help picking smallbore for small shooter

My KK500 with 690mm barrel, next to KK500 with 650mm light barrel. Barrel is shorter with a smaller diameter. The whole system is significantly lighter than mine. Currently, I know of only 3 people in the USA with the lightweight version of the KK500. http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t165/champcar...

Re: Bloop tube problem

I have the Precise Tube mounted on my old 1907. For proper sight alignment with the foresight when mounted on the tube, the rear sight needs to be mounted on a 4mm sight riser. The Precise tube is not sold with it, of course. It must be purchased separately. The design of the precise tube is such th...

Re: My KK500 has arrived (in California)

The 9.9 is clearly the rifle rebelling against that Bleiker brass weight! Haha, Tim. That gold weight isn't actually specific to the Bleiker. I bought it ages ago from Shooting Equipment in Germany to use on my Anschutz Precise Extension Tube as a tuning weight. I always put the front sight in the ...

Re: My KK500 has arrived (in California)

Now that I'm back from Germany, I've been trying to perfect the setup on my KK500 as i am making the full switch over from my Anschutz. These are my first 10 sighting shots out of the shoulder in prone, after moving the last of my accessories over from the old rifle. These were small things like the...

Re: International Shooting Competitions of Hannover (ISCH)

I have returned from Germany after a great time in Hannover. ISCH is a very fun match and should be on everyone's list if you have any desire to shoot internationally. I took quite a few photos. You can see some of them using the link below. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1351561374860714...

Re: International Shooting Competitions of Hannover (ISCH)

Good luck Jober, can we follow results of the matches online somewhere? Thank you Andrew! Results get posted to the ISCH website here: http://i-s-c-h.de/index.php/en/results Not sure if they are available live during the matches. You'll have to check and let me know. Don't look for me near the top ...

Re: Industry - Summary of Proposed 2017-2020 ISSF Rules Chan

Hope this doesn’t force Daria Vdovina to give up her wood stocked FWB. She’s a top shooter and makes finals. http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t165/champcarstar/DariaVdovinaOlympicsDay1ShootingjShWS8aFM0-l_zpshz88o2mq.jpg Emilie Evesque of France used the same, but I believe she is retired now. htt...

International Shooting Competitions of Hannover (ISCH)

Hello all, At the end of the week I'll be making the trek from California to Hannover, Germany to shoot at ISCH. If any European forum members are going to be there and you see me wandering around, please feel free to say hello. I'm looking forward to competing in Germany! I'll be there the whole we...

Re: Walther KK500

What I wanted to ask is, what is Walther's thinking behind dropping the KK300 range (small bore) so that now you offer the KK500 variants and the KK300 Blacktec only? This seems to me to be a huge price gap as Walther has completely removed the mid-market rifle that I would call the KK300 Alutec. W...

Re: ISSF Report - Summary of IOC Sports Department - ISSF Mt

What bewilders me here in this thread, is that nobody - not a single one - of the commentators seems to have even remotely tried to understand the challenges under which the IOC operates, and the concerns that the IOC expressed. Some of which are rather unreasonable (e.g. laser), and some of which ...

Re: Walther KK500

Took my new KK500 to the range last night for it's first live firing. Didn't have a huge amount of time in between minutely adjusting everything to my taste but did get approx 40 rounds off. Can categorically say the trigger on mine is perfect :) Only moved the trigger shoe back a little, no other ...

Re: My KK500 has arrived (in California)

mblatchly - Sorry to hear of your experience. I see in another thread your issue will hopefully be resolved soon. I have number 166 off the line and all I can say is that it has performed flawlessly so far. I have no issues with the trigger and had not heard of any issues until yours. The only probl...

Re: ISSF Report - Summary of IOC Sports Department - ISSF Mt

Please correct me if I am wrong, but you will no longer have to read the wind if they are shooting lasers. Correct? Correct, as any laser shooting discipline would be conducted indoors so wind is not a factor at all. They wouldn't need to build a full 50m range for laser shooting. Basically imagine...

Re: My KK500 has arrived (in California)

Well, unfortunately the first day out with the KK500 did not go as planned. No, there is nothing wrong with the rifle. The conditions at the range however were less than desirable. The range at LAR&R is undergoing major maintenance and improvements. We had heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers...
