Hi Tillman, Unfortunately, I never did add anything to my shock sensor description for the unit, to catch a late hit, but I can discuss the concept further if someone is interested. BTW, when time permits, I will probably be updating the circuit I provided for a much smaller do-it-yourself unit tha...

It was designed by Matchguns, it's made by Matchguns, and it looks like a Matchguns, and Gehmann is the importer of Matchguns, and Cesare told us last autumn that he was busy building a big series of APs for Gehmann... so? As I said I could be wrong, o well I still do not like the gun all you have ...

Re: Matchguns MG1 Air Pistol?

From what I understand the MG 1E is the electric trigger version, while the Gehmann GP-1 is the mechanical trigger version. Does anyone have any information/feedback/opinions on these? Thanks. I have seen and shoot the Gehmann GP-1 and would say this would never be my first choice for a pistol it l...

I would stay away from the twinmaster action as it is double action trigger and go for the drulov I have shot both and the drulov wins hands down for a budget semiauto air pistol.

my match scores are now closer to my practice scores. It really impossible to lessen the importance of a match so you need to up the importance of a practice. on speaking to Tom Radhead coach last week at a competition he told me that a small comp should be about a 3-5 point drop on you training sc...

I would go with lowering down slowly as it is harder to lift something up in a controlled manner. If you think about it if you are hanging of a bar by your arms to lift your self up is hard work but you should be able to lower your self down in a controlled manner. I have only seen very few shooters...

I would agree with Steve you do not need a long hold time I would say the final phase of releasing a shoot I would only hold on between 2 – 4 seconds. If I hold on for longer that 4 or so seconds that is going to be the shot out in the edge of the nine or even eight. So if my final phase of the shot...

Scatt for live-firing

I was wondering if any one uses the scat for live firing training or just dry firing. The reason for this is that when I have used the scatt for live firing the position that it plots for the shots dose not match the live score even with lots of calibration. Is this due to the scatt system registeri...

I put my off hand or non shooting hand as close as I can below my bellybutton with my thumb hocked in my belt and then let my arm hang loose slightly dropping my non-shooting shoulder. I find this is close to the center of balance and very comfortable and has worked with good results.

I use the morini with the eltronic trigger and find it far superior to the one on my lp5 and other mechanical triggers I have used on single shot pistols. But I must say if I had got an lp1 first I would probably say that was the best gun to use. I think it is what you get use to before I got my mor...
