Second volume of "Ways of the Rifle"

Does anyone know if there are plans for an English translation of Maik Eckhardt's new book on air rifle shooting? If not, has anyone been able to find a German copy out there?

Flying with .22 ammo really is not an issue. I have done it on several occasions, and had no problems. Just about everyone that shoots the Junior Olympics does it, and I have never heard complaints about it.

Modifying rilfe grips and painting stocks

First, does anyone know what kind of "putty" is used to modify the grips and cheekpieces on rifle stocks? I have seen lots of people who have done it, but my the folks at my local hardware store are clueless. Second, has anyone been able to successfully paint a 2313 stock? I have a silver ...

David

Clean the entire rifle

Try cleaning the barrel and everything else, as well as the bore. Sometimes, the airguns will recoil a little if they are very dirty. Otherwise, check your seals.

Stock and Barrelled action

Yes, it is possible for an normal person to put an Anschutz barrelled action into the Walther stock, as long as it is a KK300 stock designed for the Anschutz action. All that is involved is screwing in the action. However, if you buy a stock that is not specifically designed for the action you want,...

Belkin USB adaptor

My team has a Noptel, and our new ladtop did not have any serial ports either. Try a Belkin USB adaptor. It works with the Noptel as long as you boot up the computer and THEN plug in the adaptor. Seems like it MUST go in this order.

Hope this helps,

Kowa

I have a Kowa scope. It is a 50mm, and cost $195 from Champion's Choice. It has a 45 degree angeled eyepiece, and a 20-40x zoom. very lightweight, works well at 50m.

Hope this helps,

Pelican makes awesome cases

Depending on how much you want to spend, and how much gear you have, I recommend the Pelican 1650 case. It is, without question, the most durable, indestructable piece of plastic mankind has ever created. It is pricey, but if you fly or travel a lot or have an enormous amount of gear, or if you want...
