Usually at Nassau County rifle/pistol range.
Recently moved to Suffolk County, looking for a good place with good people.

Re: STEYR LP-10 Long, pellet pistol. Trigger????
Too late, I ordered the LP-10 long with electronic trigger. My feeling, latest technology, and a gun that has adjustable sight length. Spoke at length with buck and he actually likes the mechanical trigger, by a bit, but he said either way, can't go wrong. At least I'll know the limiting factor will...

Target practice at home.
Want to buy a target holder to replicate competition. Need, something that holds a NRA regulation B-40 , 10 meter air pistol target perfectly still at the exact height. Would like a stand that the paper target slides into and not just a "clip" at the top so the target waves in the wind Whe...

I need everyone's advice... Mechanical or electronic trigger? Is the mechanical good, old school? Is the electronic trigger adj...

Re: IZH 46M
Wow Rover, that is pretty rough!
Really, I don't have Parkinsons' or a guide dog.
I would like to concentrate on the science. Maybe I should try loading the pellets backwards.
Thanks for your concern and insight.

Re: IZH 46M
Yes, so true. Just pretty frustrated, I was expecting, perfection and, as we know, there is no such thing in this sport, that's why we keep coming back. Funny story, after I put the pistols away for the night, I grilled up a steak and sat out in the back watching the sun set, eating and relaxing whe...

Re: IZH 46M
So here is my story now!! I shot the IZH-46M for the first time today, perfect weather, 10 meters exactly from a rest. I used H+K Match pistol, 7.46 gm. was told that was a perfect fit for this pistol. The first 2 shots were the diameter of a dime. The third shot... the 2 rubber "O" rings ...

Re: IZH 46M
Wow,
I have lots to learn!
If $ was not an issue, would you get a Steyr 10 long or compact?
Mechanical or electronic trigger?
Seems majority of International medal winners are shooting the Steyr 10 long with electronic trigger, have you tried one?

Re: IZH 46M
Thanks for your input! I am interested in the early C02 pistols that you speak of, I love the convenience, of a simple pop in C02 cartridge. Can you give me some names and model numbers? How accurate were they? Are they still in production? Are parts available? Do you know of any available... only t...

Re: IZH 46M
Maybe I confused everyone... Is there anything that can be modified on a "NEW' IZH 46M" to make it ?? , Grips are being worked on as we speak; better than a Steyr world class pistol.....Of Course... besides Practice, practice, practice!! If so, can anyone recommend an honest and competent ...

Re: IZH 46M
You guys are the best! This is the info I need.
If possible, can you describe the work done on your trigger... if I am not a machinist or real craftsman, can you recommend someone to do the job?
Anything else to be done to the gun... barrel stabilizing, etc...
Thanks,
Tom

Re: IZH 46M
Thank you, that lets me know that any limitations will be me! I realize that there are slight variations amongst IZH 46M pistols depending on when made, parts fitting, trigger adjustments etc., but what pellets do you and the top shooters use with this gun for the best accuracy and consistancy? Besi...

IZH 46M
First time poster, thanks for having me. I shot bullseye many years ago, .45 cal. Colt Gold c up, did OK. Want to get into serious competition with air pistol at 10 meters. Just purchased a new IZ 46 M. Need everyone's advice about "break-in, most accurate pellets used, and serious modification...
