Re: 10m rifle that can be scoped for indoor practice

I have a Steyr 91 match air rifle to practice silhouette indoors that I do not shoot any more. It is accurate and its trigger is equal to your Anschutz 1712 trigger. I can send pictures if interested.

Even different models from the same make are different

Even different models from the same make can be different. My favorite among laminated stock models was P-70, but the FWB700 alu absolutely didn't feel right. I'm now settled on an Anschutz 9003 and love it but didn't do well with the 2002's. A Steyr LG10p doesn't feel very well but the Steyr LG100 ...

Olympian!

Hi Joe66,

You have contributed a lot of valuable insight about 10 meter air rifles and I think you must be a guru with authority. Have you won any Olympic medals or did you compete in any Olympic games?

If so, when? Your fan here is dying to know.

Shameless plug.

I am selling my Steyr LG100 which is scope-friendly and you can easily turn up the power to shoot 10g+ pellets at higher velocities suitable for silhouette. At $1,750 with sight set, you won't lose much if and when you decide to sell it.

P70, yes, 600? I don't think so.

P-70 can still do the job for sure, but with C-62, 601 or even 602, you're at a distinct disadvantage. Old air rifles with blued steel and figured walnut do give you a warm feeling but if you want to compete with the best, you need the best equipment available. I shoot an Anschutz 9003. I am trying ...

Comparing different top drawer air rifles

I agree with Peepsight totally. I bought a 9003 in May and just love it. After three weeks with the 9003 my mind's made up. I sold my FWB 700 alu in June and am selling my Steyr LG100. I did not try the 8002 though. As Peepsight said, brand to brand or even model to model preference is a very person...

Targetworx

Hi Eddy, As I said in my previous post, I'm more than satisfied with your product and would recommend it to anybody, but I would also mention the delivery might take a while. I have waited for over a year for custom "race guns", "pin guns", and "IPSC guns", more than a ...

I have dealt with the Targetworx four times...

...I have bought a target changer, an up-date kit, and two shipments of target rolls from Targetworx spanning three years. I have received the merchandise all four times. I did have to wait a long time EVERYTIME. I believe it is a one-man operation run by an "inventor/builder" who is not g...

I have inquired the factory regarding converting my C62 to P70 and was told that problem number 1 was the lack of space for the regulator and problem number 2 was the incompatibility of the stabilisor for the C62. What you have the good fortune to shoot must be some sort of one-off prototype.

FWB C60

The C60 was superseded by the C62, there was no C61. It is not possible to convert a C62 to P70. I have owned an FWB C60 mini, an FWB C62, and two P70's. they are of the same lineage and are from a great design. Unless the rifle in question is in absolutely mint condition, the price is a bit on the ...

Anschutz imported(?) by Canadian Industries Limited

I have an Anschutz 22 single shot marked "Canadian Industries Limited" on the barrel and "CIL 180" on the top of the receiver. It is a sporter but I just shot some great groups with non-match standard velocity ammo. Can anybody provided me with some background on this rifle? TIA.

I've owned one for about a year and it was ok for an early nineties match rifle. I have never been able to find any write-ups on it either. It is obsolete by today's standards but was a great step forward from the FWB300s.
