You're stirring a pot that's been cold for over a year. Everyone knows I'm only a very ordinary shooter.

Re: click adjusting the sights in a match

If one finds that ones shots are landing ( grouping ) in a place other than the center... look for other causes and not click the sights.. for there is no reason to assume that your adjustment has changed ! So , its something else thats moving you off center. Look for that something else . This is ...

Fwiw, my attitude has changed somewhat in the last year. I still wouldn't necessarily adjust my sights based on a single target, but I also wouldn't be as slow to change them as I used to be. In some cases, I might consider a change after only a few shots, just so long as they're all in a nice tight...

Could all of these changes also be a reflection of ... everyone trying to sponsor broadbased "grass roots" programs to develop shooters is a duplication of effort and waste of money???? ... Why can"t the three programs build on their strengths CMP and NRA developing new shooters to t...

Most of us "club shooters" and coaches should look at our dues as a donation to help the US team, andask not what USAS can do for us, but how we can help them in their mission. Put that way, I guess I can't. I'm paid up for the next several years, but if it's still just yet another charit...

My goodness, what a lot of ignorance is being expressed here. Okay, so help relieve the ignorance, please. What possible reason was there for discontinuing sanctions of all leagues, which is where a great many of us compete? Why are they now refusing to accept memberships concurrent with match part...

"club-level shooter" Wow. Great generalazation. Is that like saying im white too? No, it does not mean that and I'm a little surprised both that you need to ask and that you feel the need to phrase the question the way you did. What it means, at least in my case, is that I'm quite serious...

Isn't that a good question! I also did a multi-year renewal and have been wondering why. That website is positively THE biggest mess ever. Did you notice that if you login, you can't get at the rulebook downloads? If you want the downloads, you have to NOT login. What?! And yes, that nonsense where ...

We are just discussing gun control here, with logic and reason. Some of us are. You propose only appeasement. Despite the fear-mongering of the gun-grabbers, there's very little evidence that gun violence is increased by any of the following: - Semiautos (with practice and speedloaders, people can ...

Good for them! It's time to stand up against those who would take away our rights, claiming the RKBA as no different than the right to own or drive a car. They're wrong and we need to make our voices heard.

My sentiments exactly. But of course, if, as his handle suggests, he only shoots air, it's not his ox being gored.

I liked the view from behind, as the pellet exited. It's probably the engineer in me, but I thought that ripple in the paper, like dropping a pebble in a pond, was fascinating! What sort of equipment did you use to capture these shots?

If you're going to buy rifles for a junior rifle program, you're wasting your money and everyone's time if you try saving money on guns that aren't suited to the purpose or the shooters. Better to buy half as many guns and make them shoot in twice as many relays. For smallbore rifle, it needs to be ...

As should be clear from the previous responses, once you're committed to spending somewhere north of $1200 to $1500 for a standard pistol, there are several good choices, each with its adherents. David Banks's suggestion that the best pistol is the one that best fits that particular shooter is prett...
