Newbie as far as air pistols are concerned, not a newbie as far as competition pistol shooting is concerned. My comment about benching the gun was for gaining whatever information about that particular gun I could get from doing so.

Hi, I'm a newbie to the SSP pistol. Just got a FAS 6004. I am an experienced target and match shooter (my younger days), but not airguns.
