Fine, but it's more like 60 prone discussion than pistol chit chat.

Re: Shooting with a lens
In my case, it was like when I shot with regular glasses, I did use orange/red filter, and this did just great job. I bought simple Varga's glasses and try orange/red... with more than no success. In fact, I was not able to shoot. Hard to describe - I just didn't see anything. Now I play just with p...

Re: Standing Revelations
Fortunately I've not (yet!) suffered from the similar but rather different problem of I've-been-standing-here-waiting-for-ages-for-this-shot-to-sight-exactly-on-the-bull-and-I-know-that-it's-still-not-there-but-I've-got-fed-up-waiting-so-I'm-going-to-pull-the-trigger-anyway . Well this is really a ...

Re: flattened rear sight picture
It may be diopter height. Maybe you see inner edges. Things to reconsider are eye relief, cheek piece height or maybe whole device, if it's not on its extreme settings.

If it's not right put it down start again .. ALWAYS!! Why give away points if you can see it's not right... That's the thing. What you wrote here is a bit higher level that my advice. But my is more appropriate for novice and beginners. Once I told one girl "if you don't see it right, put it d...

Apart from many things you will read here soon, I'd like to point out one thing http://www.targettalk.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=49551 Yes, same cant angle is important. But even more important is NOT correcting it if you find it as a too much in this or that direction. You may succesfully do it on...

Re: FWB 601 air pressure -release issue
What is probably more informative is that when I cock it again it has a small pressure release similar to a fart. Can someone give me an idea of possible problems and or solutions? Peter Quick and simply test: cock the rifle and let it be for like minute. Shooting sound shouldn't be much more quiet...

Re: FWB 601 air pressure -release issue
It is most likely your airgun doesn't release all the compressed air. Check out the travel of firing pin, if it's unobstructed. It is also possible that firing ping doesn't cock properly because of too light sear engagement setting - when you cock, it travel back as it should, but after loading it d...

Re: Front heavy or Back Heavy Air Rifle
Doing some experiments I've found that on certain spot air rifle may be dead steady. You should check two things: the first is if rifle is fitted to you, and only if yes - check out various weight on barrel (and it's not like it has to be 16 tons on barrel). In my case, by some these trials I "...

Re: feinwerkbau spare part
It is likely part number 1746.306.3 and having that, just ask your dealer, or if there's no dealer, directly in FWB.
Or better search for this spring, use the speaker magnet patent.

Re: Weird problem with Scatt
Thank you all for input. I think the problem is solved (somehow). Attached are typical scatt prone session and scatt frame graphic. If you look at scatt file, lines now are properly drawed, rounded etc. What has changed, is relation in height between target and IR diodes. It looks like (at least in ...

Re: Anshutz 2002 Super Air vs. Hammerli AR20
My vote for Anschutz (however, FWBs are more reliable). I use and have access to both, and AR20 is just plain rifle. Crappy triger not very well housed, hard cocking, plastic, and it's really light vs Asnchutz. Centre of gravity is like more closer to shooter than in Anschutz. The difference between...

Re: Weird problem with Scatt
Thank you all for replies. The distance from sensor to target is 50 m. The Scatt modell is Professional. It is this hold what looks weird. I've got another session from today and 1 group looks similar, rest of them rather not (591, 622 decimal - attachment quota has been reached). But anyway, today'...

Re: Weird problem with Scatt
Thank you all for input. @1: There's no artifical heating. The room is a hall about 40 m long and 2 m width, then we have a downstairs (100 cm down I think, worth of notice: no windows, or better I would say no windows allowing for direct sunlight - and there were none from this side then), and next...

Hm, interesting. I do the same, but I didin't know there's some kind of rule behind. Maybe you'll try ask Reinkemeier @ fb?

Weird problem with Scatt
Hello, Could you guys please help me work this out: Attached are two free rifle scatt files. While first one looks more or less ok, second (sjfr) is kinda weird. Please take a look at vertical lines curved at about -10 degrees. These were two scatt sessions one after another, device was restarted in...
