Re: 100 gr HBWC for 38 Spl - load info?
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THE 100GR HBWC. THEY USED TO BE SOLD BY A COMPANY NAMED 3-D BULLETS (OR AMMO). THEY WERE NOT GOOD PAST 15YDS . THESE WERE TESTED IN MANY PPC REVOLVERS. 148GR HBWC FROM A PPC REVOLVER WILL GROUP ABOUT THE SIZE OF A NICKLE AT 25 YDS. THE 100GR WOULD NOT HOLD X-RING AT 25YDS....

Re: anybody tried Eley Bullseye X in their Pardini SP?
I DID RANSOM IT AT 50 YDS WITH A MARVEL. IT SHOT NO BETTER THAN THE CCI SV. THE MARVEL IS A GREAT SHOOTER. WITH LAPUA CENTER-X IT SHOOTS UNDER A HALF INCH. WITH CCI SV AND BULLSEYE X IT SHOT ABOUT 7/8". JP

Re: 9mm ammuntion for 25yd Bullseye
http://www.michiganammo.com/ I USED THEIR DISTINGUISHED PISTOL AMMO FOR YEARS WHEN I WAS ACTIVE IN PPC SHOOTING. I WOULD LOOK AT THE 121GR OR 147GR 9MM FOR YOUR PURPOSE. THE OWNERS WERE BOTH HIGH MASTER PPC SHOOTERS. THE WIFE (NORMA) WAS THE LADIES NATIONAL PPC CHAMPION ONE YEAR (1997 IF I REMEMBER ...

Re: Nelson .22lr conversion opinions?
WHY 3?
I HAVE 2 WITH DOTS. BECAUSE MY INDOOR AND OUTDOOR ZEROS ARE WAY DIFFERENT.
I HAVE A 6" FOR DISTINGUISHED FOR THE INCREASED SIGHT RADIUS.
SO WHY NOT ? JP

Re: Nelson .22lr conversion opinions?
I WOULD BUY A MARVEL ALUMINUM LOCK BACK CONVERSION. I OWN 3 DIFFERENT MARVELS. I HAVE RANSOM REST TESTED ALL OF MINE. ALL ARE UNDER AN INCH AT 50YDS WITH CCI SV. ALL ARE UNDER 1/2 INCH AT 50YDS WITH LAPUA SIGNUM. ALSO DENNIS FROM MARVEL IS AT PERRY EVERY YEAR SUPPORTING AND PARTICIPATING ALONG SIDE ...

Re: Any PPC revolver shooters loading with a Dillon 1050
I'VE BEEN LOADING ON A RL1050 FOR APP. 25 YEARS. YES I SHOOT PPC . I NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH LIGHT HITS. I ADJUSTED THE PRIMER SEATING DEPTH AS DESIGNED BY DILLON . BETWEEN THE SIZING DIE AND SWAGING STATION ON THE TOOL HEAD IS THE ROD THAT PUSHES ON THE PRIMING ARM. BY SCREWING IT DOWN FROM THE TO...

Re: HP 38 or something
HP38 AND WINCHESTER 231 ARE THE SAME POWDER IN DIFFERENT CANS. WE USED TO BUY IT FROM STAR BULLETS IN 30LB DRUMS.IT HAD BOTH IDS ON THE LABEL. IF YOU CHECK THE HODGDON WEB SITE FOR LOADING DATA THEY LIST BOTH POWDERS WITH IDENTICAL CHARGES AND RESULTS. JP

I HAVE FOUND THAT SAME THING WITH THE 9MM AND .45ACP NEW STARLINE BRASS. I NOW RUN THEN IN THE TUMBLER FIRST BEFORE I LOAD THEM. I REDUCES THE SHAVING A LOT . BUT DOESN'T ELIMINATE THEM. JP
