Re: Air Rifle Rules Question
Thanks. I had seen that but was not 100% sure what the term "fore end" meant. I appreciate the reply.

Air Rifle Rules Question
I have been trying to look through the ISSF rulebook and am still confused. What is the maximum depth, on a 10M Air Rifle, that the palmrest can extend, below the line of the bore?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Pressure gauge for scuba tank
My tank has a DIN fitting which the air cylinder adapters fit in. I have an adapter with which they can fill our tank. Although their compressor has gauges which tells you the pressure in each of the compressor banks, it is impossible to tell how much pressure is in my tank. It will tell me how much...

Pressure gauge for scuba tank
Can anyone recommend a pressure gauge to give an indication of tank pressure while filling at the local fire station?

Rear sight question
The stock Feinwerkbau rear sight on my daughter's FWB 2700 has coarser adjustments then the Anschutz universal sights. Any feelings on whether this is a serious disadvantage in 50 ft. indoor smallbore. Any recommendations on which sight would be an upgrade?

Re: Junior Left-handed Rifles
Pat,
I'm not sure that what I see in the pictures is what I had in mind. Are these bolt-action rifles? Is there an accessory rail for a handstop or palmrest underneath the foreend of the stock?

Junior Left-handed Rifles
Does anyone know of a small, junior rifle option that is available in left-handed? I am talking for starting shooters of 11-12 years of age, probably 4'6" to 5'0" in height.
Thanks
Thanks

FWB 700 ALU fair value
What do you think would be the fair value of a FWB 700 ALU air rifle. 8 years old with case. Assuming its in good shape.

Shooting without a blinder
There is a junior shooter in my club who shoots without a blinder. She is very talented and in 9th grade is already shooting 550-560 in smallbore and 380 in air. Any thoughts on whether this is acceptable or we should advise she learn to use it?

Scuba Tank Pressure Too high?
Our clubs scuba tanks were filled by the local fire company. I was told by the parent volunteer that they were filled to 3500 psi. Would an air cylinder or air rifle be damaged by this pressure? How can I adjust the pressure in the tanks to 2900 psi?

Re: New NRA $$$ Cry!!!
I agree that the never-ceasing solicitation of money from the NRA is annoying. I will say, in their defense, that the "Friends of the NRA" supports our local junior club tremendously. Both of my daughters, one now shooting in college, the other now shooting with her own equipment, spent ye...

Typically one minute per record shot in prone, two minutes per record shot in standing, 1.5 minutes per record shot in kneeling.

FWB 2700 Buttplate
Got a question. My daughter shoots a FWB 2700 Light. The top section of the FWB buttplate that angles to fit snugly against the shoulder is not able to be tightened. It moves with minimal pressure even when the screw is tightened firmly. I have heard of others with the same buttplate complain of the...

Scuba Tank Filling
We took our scuba tank recently to the local fire department to fill with their compressor. It has the standard DIN valve which accepts the filling adaptors for the air cylinders. When our representative got to the station, the compressor was not able to attach to our tanks to fill them. I wasn't pe...
