Re: Kneeling help for a tall shooter
my son had problems kneeling as well. At 6-3, he preferred to extend his foot out so it would drop his knee.

Re: Rifle shooting suit questions
the Anschutz Match line of clothing sounds like what you are looking for. The jacket is in the $300 price line and although it's "off the shelf" they offer an expanded list of sizes including big and tall sizes. My son had both the jacket and pants. He has moved on to a custom thune jacket...

Re: Junior Olympic Invitations
Has anyone received a confirmation email back after sending registration? It would be nice to know before round 2 invites go out?

Re: Tesro Jackets?
My son tried on a few Tesro jackets a couple years back at the Air Gun grand Prix in Toronto. To me, the Tesro pro looked similar in quality to the Anschutz match jacket. Most likely made in the same plant as I'm sure Tesro isn't making these jackets on their own in Canada. I think it's a comparable...

Re: Experience with Anschutz 9015?
My son just picked up the precise model. Was shooting a 8002 aluminum stock. First time out he picked up a few points in an offhand match. Next day, picked up another 10 points! I really like the Butt plate design but don't understand the weights and why they are designed to open like they do? I fee...

Correct me if I'm wrong. Unless you are in your senior year, a coach cannot talk specifics to you about a scholarship or specifics about getting you on the team.

Re: CMP "Aces" Postal
Side note: a few Jr shooters from our club brought their targets to the club yesterday. Over half of them were folded in half from the post office jamming them in mailboxes. It was nothing that couldn't be fixed with a heavy book sitting on them for a few days . Maybe next time around slide a piece ...

Re: shooting jacket for jr shooter
Just put in an order with 10pt9 for an anschutz match suit. Heather was quite helpful and it looks like I'll be able to have my son sized for a custom suit this upcoming fall as she shoots some of the monthly matches at Camp Perry!

Re: high scores with Anschutz 1903s
Thanks again for the great info. My son is in the 530-550 range in smallbore and 550-560 range for air rifle. I'm going to try and upgrade this summer before he attends smallbore camp to get some professional help with setting it up for his positions.

Re: shooting jacket for jr shooter
Thanks for all the help everyone. I think I'm going to stick with something off the shelf that I can return if need be and then have him sized by a pro when we run across someone at a match!

shooting jacket for jr shooter
So my son is currently shooting in a champions shooter supply ISSF size 40 jacket and 38 shooting pants. This weekend at the Canadian airgun grand prix he was told to take the bottom 2 buttons off to pass tech. We took this opportunity to have him sized at the vendor that was there (Tesro). After me...

Re: high scores with Anschutz 1903s
Great responce! Thanks. LtDave and I were discussing this at last night practice. With all the discussion about the 1903 being a starter gun, I was wondering if their was a point accuracy would be holding back a shooter. You put it into perspective. My son is shooting a 8002 air rifle and a 1903. He...
