I have a DES that I have shot CCI 22 shorts exclusively with a manufactures number 0037. These are extremely hard to find these days, does anyone have any suggestions of what might work and is available? CCI - CB's don't cycle.

maybe i wasn't clear with my question. My plan was to make an entirely new magazine that will hold 6.

this may appear to be a crazy question, but if i were to manufacture a 6 shot magazine on an EDM, would it work in the gun? We have a local fun shoot that the gun must load 6 rounds, and i would like to use it, as it is better than any rimfire or center fire gun that i own, for many reasons.

What method are you using to grip the slide? Are you merely gripping it with your index finger and thumb from the rear of the pistol? if so, use the over hand method and it will work much easier.
