Demyan doesn't have such a sales network. What we are discussing? The pistol is not in (retail) sale. How can we evaluate "sales network" if such network doesn't exist yet? How can we evaluate service/support if no one single service case known? There is a well known name in the EU/World ...

Once again - please forget izhs, toz etc. The mass production of (sport)arms in Ex-USSR was a part of national politics according to predefined 5-years plans. State controlled plants and state-subsidies. "Demyan LLC" is a private project, private business (as Steyr LLC, Morini CA etc). For...

I think many saw the SP-08 as a successor to the IJ-35, a pistol with world class performance that was built with a Russian pricepoint. ISSF standard pistols have become extremely expensive in just the past five years. There is a gap in the high performance/moderate cost slot. The Austrian produced...

Re: Walther's new pistols LP400 and SSP-E

Nonsense: the pictures are courtesy of VISIER gun magazine, issue 8/2010, page 48ff. The drawings and pictures were given to me exclusively by Carl Walther, and even though blog-author Igor knows me (I'm the author of that worldwide first article) he didn't ask for permit. Due to the fast distribut...

Exactly as Feinwerbau does... May be these companies are still searching for successful model?

LP10 exists since 1997. In the same period of time Finewerkbau produced P30, P34. P40, P44. Hm...

TB wrote: What pistol is this, is the Demyan derived from it?
On the photo above is KHR-31 .22 short (rebuild for .22 lr).

Khaidurov is employed by Demyan (chef designer?).

Khaidurov designed both these pistols with the difference of 30 years.

Hm :-) marketing people don't feel/see any difference.

But we know that these two pistols aren't the same.

Makris D. G. wrote:Somewhat off topic, but do you adjust your front sight for different conditions?
Till now I did it only in free pistol (I have enough sights for TOZ). Standard LP 10 have not options at all - only standard 4.5mm front sight (or non standard for extra charge).

It is good to have options.

I own one compact since last week.

I didn't tested it yet. But I feel that the pistol is OK. Classic LP 10 was too heavy on the muzzle for me.

Short pistol history: http://toz35.blogspot.com/2010/05/aw93-history.html Pistol is really good for sport pistol and standard pistol. For rapid fire - IMHO, not optimal. To light at the muzzle. AW93 "eats" every European ammo. No problems at all. US ammo, as I have heard, might be differen...

Offline Internet Conference with shooting star

Hello community, I want to ask you. If I could arrange offline conference with one of the top pistol shooters - would you do with? Are you interested? Offline conference in form of: you send us questions related to pistol shooting (or shooting at all) and that invited shooter tries to answer as he/s...
