At work I use a Sabrent RS232 to USB adapter on Win 7 & 10 and it has been reliable.
But not with SCATT in particular

Re: Trouble when attempting to charge Air Tanks for PCP.
I've been using an SCBA tank from Joe B @ airtanksforsale.com. Got the valve setup (search OPTION 2A on his page) that shows tank pressure (small gauge) and line pressure (big gauge), a DIN200/DIN300 adapter to fill the pistol cylinder, a wrench tight fire house to DIN 300 adapter, microbore hose w/...

Training Targets?
Curious, what drills are used with the pictured training targets? Are the horizontal and vertical bars to train hold in vertical & horizontal axis in isolation?

Re: SCATT File Export
What I've figured out is for some reason the line %windir%\SysWOW64\cmd.exe in the .bat file is executing the .bat via the system32\cmd.exe instead of the cmd.exe in syswow64. At this point I dunno why. Before trying to run, in the .bat file make sure the line for %%f in (<scatt folder>\*.scatt) do ...

You think operating a quality valve in coordination with a quality gauge is overly dangerous and you are operating guns?

Re: The Regulator in PCP pistols.
Here are a couple good threads about tuning regulated PCPs: https://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=74919.0 http://airgunguild.com/ask-bob/tuning-a-regulated-pcp/ They're from the standpoint of tuning hunting or FT/HFT airguns with an adjustable regulator to get a desired power level wi...

Re: Crosman Challenger - Good or bad?
I. Problem with the Crossman is: It's a 2,000 psi system, and requires a $100+ regulator to link to standard scuba tanks. Plus, a bunch of other expensive b.s. I'm not following you here: I connect my Challenger straight to my 4500psi bottle using a foster fitting, open the bottle valve slowly, the...

The 'lawyer' spring can be removed from the trigger group to reduce pull weight.

Thanks for sharing the info. Has the material mentioned in the thread " polyamide" performed well or have they worn? Any other material advice? Also, does the screw interferes in sight picture? The polyamide is sintered white nylon that is then dyed black. They are fairly durable but will...

Re: What is the function of those Belleville washers?
Why do you want to change the regulator setting? Did you disassemble it? In general, without a regulator tester or having noted the number of turns in on the adjusting screw you'll have a fun time getting it set correctly. Iirc the regulator set point on pistols is 90-95 bar. Does that sound correct...

Re: Moving Front sight vertically downward
Hi, Here's a thread where I posted about some 3D printed front sights for the LP400. It wouldn't be any problem at all to adjust the design for a series of sights covering the 5.0-6.0mm range, or whatever you like for that matter. Height could be adjusted too. The attach file option wouldn't accept ...

Re: Lighting variations and adjusting impact point
Thanks Art. I'll try making a 1/16" aperture, maybe out of some removable masking tape to keep the ambient light level, similar to a translucent shade over non-shooting eye. I have a multi size leather punch that ought to make a nice hole. I've tried using an iris and found it distracting, inte...

Lighting variations and adjusting impact point
At a recent match the lighting was brighter than what I usually practice with, not just the target area but overall lighting was brighter. The target seemed more distinct--less blur, because (i think) my pupils were smaller resulting in greater depth of field. During the prep period, after dry &...

Take a look at how the skirt is bent. I am thinking mine are bent when I open the breech without firing.
I've got a pair of fine tweezers and finishing nail to remove unshot pellets.

Over the past year I've made some progress from averaging in the 530s to now flirting with 560, recently shooting a 563. All practice in my garage. At first trying to keep them all in the black. Now trying to shoot only 9's and 10's and coming to understand how its 90% mental. There's a monthly post...
