Pardini Ammo .22 dirty ammo?
I used to be able to shoot 1500 rounds between cleanings with the Pardini SP New using CCI and Wolf. This year I cleaned up for the Indoor league and DNF'ed in the second match...two failures to extract, round number 4, in a row. This was after 200 rounds approx. of CCI and Eley Target. The gun was ...

And you can use it on your bald spot. (boom ching)

tennis elbow surgery
anyone have the surgery?
How did it work out for you?
My TE came back after the cortisone shot when I waxed a car after it was ok for 6 months, now I am trying to figure out if I want to go to PT or straight to surgery.
TIA

Re: Cleaning a Pardini SP
I am cleaning my Pardini SP for the very first time...any advice that anyone can offer? How often should it be cleaned? Thanks for any information. I brush the chamber with a .25 cal bronze brush only as deep at the cartridge case to loosen crud. then wrap a clean patch on a nylon brush and clean u...

no ammo
This coming season will be won by people who stocked up last year, or people who shoot well with no live fire practice. Since, there isn't any ammo around to practice with.
I have just enough to shoot one season's matches. No practice.

41's are so expensive now, you may as well step up to one of the imports, unless you find a deal on a used one.TonyT wrote:Personally I would opt for the S&W 41 as a starter 22. It comes with a superb trigger and will serve you for many moons until you feel the need for one of the high end imports.

Put up an ad at your range and see who is selling their old pistol. Best deal, pre tuned, red dot, and extra mags usually.

I heard that 41's go to a special place, not the reg S and W repair.

Beretta Neos
One of our Newbies has a Beretta noes.
It jams a lot using CCI SV.
It extracts the spent round but the next round jams up against the breech face at an angle.
Can anyone point to a place where he can find info on this problem?
TIA

AW93
Is it still a huge pain to put a red dot on an AW 93.
I had considered this, but I couldn't even find one anywhere to hold much less shoot. So I went Pardini at substantial lower cost.
2400 give or take is all I ever see for a Hammerli or AW

since you shoot iron sights, you should find a Pardini SP new and heft it without a scope....excellent feel. I hate that I had to put a dot on my Pardini but I don't have young eyes.

Re: .22 Ammunition
Based on my one trip to the Eley Customer Range, the variable results from a product as consistent as Tenex from gun to gun and lot to lot are sufficient to conclude that, unless you're lot testing ammo, it's luck of the draw. A good pistol and ammo combination will yield 50 yard groups under 1 inc...

.22 Ammo quality declining?
For several years, I have tested each new lot of ammo and I suspected either I was physically declining or that my pistol's accuracy was declining. When I first got my Pardini my ammo tests produced edge to edge groups of .400 to .550 from 50 ft bench rested. And this was with reasonably priced ammo...

Pardini firing pin
Just replaced a broken Pardini SP New firing pin. I placed empty brass in it and fired it to compare new vs old fp impressions..they seem fairly similar. This pardini has always put what appears to be a very solid hit on the brass. Now, other threads have said.....after you change the fp, check to m...

called pardini in FL
"....wow, never heard of that happening before...." Blue Loctite-sparingly-was the suggestion....is that formula 222? They also told me that I should change the recoil spring and buffer every 7.5K rounds. I have about 35K rounds through the gun. Does anyone else do that maintenance? How of...

Pardini problem
I was shooting my Pardini SP New 22 when I felt the trigger "out of place". The retaining pin backed all the way out except for 1/8 inch. Anyone experience that? That ended my day at the range. I went home and was able to line the pin up and put it back in. Seems to work ok in dry fire. Wh...

You said the mag was new...not the gun. What happens when you put the old mag in, does it work ok? Are you sure the new mag lips are not dragging on the slide...slowing it down so it does not cycle correctly? I have seen many new shooters show up with a new gun that doesn;t cycle as described and it...

Re: New Buckmark not cycling?
I have a new buckmark and it's not cycling. Here's whats happening: I purchased a new magazine for my Buckmark. The first few rounds were Ok and then I was back to square one. I tried different ammo but that didn’t help. So these are the four things that are happening: A) The bullet is discharged a...
