Re: Spotting scope for 50m outdoors
Thanks a lot to all. I have been following up ~200 eur models and it seems that there will be not so much difference with the current scope. I am inclined to increase the budget to 400-500. I am thinking about Vanguard Endeavor, because it also rotates around by itself, so potentially no need for a ...

Spotting scope for 50m outdoors
Can anyone recommend a good spotting scope make for 50 m rifle shooting indoors and outdoors, as well as for 10m indoors. I'm willing to invest up to 200 eur. I'm currently using Hawke Nature 20-60x60 http://eu.hawkeoptics.com/hawke-nature-20-60x60-spotting-scope.html . It works well for 10m, but fo...

Re: Scatt trace wanted of Air Rifle 10M
Here are some records from an on-line competition in 2009 http://www.shooting-ua.com/control_On-Line.htm . Interestingly, they also counted the scores on targets, which are reported as well.

Is the stock of FWB 2700 Light model the same as of non-light model (except for the handrest)?

Re: 3 positions, different gloves
Thanks for the pointers!
I needed them fore regional competitions, such that in case judges start questioning two gloves I could point to the rules.

3 positions, different gloves
Is it allowed to use different gloves (e.g. one for prone, other for standing) when shooting 3 positions under ISSF rules? Which ISSF rule concerns that? I can't find.

Re: FWB 2800?
I asked FWB, they said a new small bore rifle is not in process of planning at the moment.

FWB 2800?
Does anyone know if FWB 2800 (or the next version after 2700) is coming any time soon? As far as I know they introduced 24mm versions just recently, so perhaps next version is not coming so soon? I am considering buying own small bore rifle (now I am using a borrowed one), but I can wait for a year ...

Re: SCATT sensor sensitivity
If I remove the padding, it points straight, but too high, so still not in the circle. I use the padding for lowering the sensor.

Re: SCATT sensor sensitivity
Scatt instruction says that the calibration shot should be inside a circle, that is shown during calibration. Is it still ok to adjust by dragging the center, if the calibration shot is outside the circle?

Re: SCATT sensor sensitivity
I tested yesterday with both screws as tight as possible - problem solved, all the dry firing shots are registered perfectly. The only problem is that it is very difficult to align the sensor, such that it points inside the circle on the screen when the rifle is aimed at the target. Typically the ai...

Re: SCATT sensor sensitivity
Thanks for all the suggestions. The rubber band is for tennis rockets, I bought it in a sports shop. I used it to lower the sensor, as if I mounted directly on the barrel, it was pointing way too high. I'll try electrical tape. I promised to write some feedback regarding tightening the tensor, but I...

Re: SCATT sensor sensitivity
Thanks, Zach, for a comprehensive answer. The reason may be that the sensor is not tight enough. Lately I was making the sensor more lose on purpose, such that when it is initially mounted and pointing to a wrong direction, I could adjust a little bit by hand. I can't mount the sensor permanently (w...

SCATT sensor sensitivity
My SCATT sensor (WS1) is missing shots. Currently it is not registering about 20-30% of the shots, and it seems it is getting worse. I am shooting air rifle with pellets. The trace is visible, working ok. I'm keeping pezo sensitivity setting at 0.5%, and as far as I understand, it is not possible to...

Magnetic stock weights
I recently attached some metal weights (some heavy screws from a hardware store) to the barrel of my air rifle (FWB 800). I noticed that the weights are slightly magnetic. Could that make any damage to the rifle?
