They would be fools not to at least consider an electronic trigger .

Julian , IIRC the P88 is an AP . The trigger might be a bit heavy , and single loading might be a bit of a pain . Other than that should be OK .

The Styer Absorber is pretty simple , and just about bullet proof . It will most probably never give trouble . Personally , I shoot at about same level ( scores near identical ) with both my Styer and Morini . At my level it doesn't make much/any difference . I suspect I would do at least as well wi...

You might be able to find dealers in the land of Aus. , I would try Gehman in Germany (www.gehmann.com ) . Their are dealers in the UK who might be able to help . Warren Potter , who is connected to our host , knows the situation downunder pretty well . BTW , the Anchutz LP@ is pretty much the same ...

Alexsis, and cdf, I also found myself in the same place about 2 yrs. ago. I decided on the Steyr lp1. Soon after couriosity got the best of me and a 162 ei joined my Steyr. I have to keep both as I shoot both equally well ( some days one better than the other) Besides If someone asked me to decide....

Francesco , I was trying as tactfully as possible to steer the young lady away from SAM and Matchguns , and towards the 162 ( whatever flavor ) . The reason being somewhat questionable support / service of the SAM and Matchguns products . To my direct knowledge , support on your products is excellen...

Alexisis you are standing where I stood a year or so ago . I did my home work , deciced thet the Morini and Styer family were the front runners . I couldn't make up my mind and bought both a Morini Short ( electronic of course ) , and a Styer LP10 . I still cant make up my mind , they are both top n...

Sad to report , cocking and loading the LP 50 with only the right hand and a sandbag not too easy . Would only work if the left hand is strong enuff to pin the piece to the sandbag . YMMV .

Good Idea Fred ! Problem - not sure ya can cock the LP50 one handed . I'll grt my sandbag and see if it's doable with minimal help from the left hand .

Get a benchrest type sandbag to rest your pistol on while loading , your right hand will do the rest . You could pin the pistol into position with your left hand , no left hand dexterity required . You can preobably get by without a loader .

I find this a comforting post . I'm trying to clean up my technique , and correct bad habits / "bandaid" methods . I was feeling a bit concerned as the results are sometimes poor . This being due to a conflict/ struggle between old and new methods .

With the 162 , double loading isn't too likley . Putting a pellet in backwards is a more likley problem .If possible try an example of each , if there are other disabled / paralympic shooters in your club/area , get their input .

with mine , you get a discernable velocity drop before semi auto fails . In point of fact , I've never had any failures with my LP50 !

I own an LP10 and an LP50 , some of my best groups ever were with the LP50 FWIW . The single fire mag is a must if you want to shoot the standard event . A dry fire mag is nice to have .In short , a very nice piece of kit , and fun to shoot .Highly recommended . Cant comment on other repeaters , FWB...

We are unsure whether pistol shooters are lazy rifle shooters , or wether rifle shooters are brain damadged pistol shooters .

Rifle shooters need brute strength to carry all that gear . The average buttplate collection , if smelted would make a 16' runabout .
