Even tho you dont need lenses YET , you might find an iris helps with your head positioning . It can also be used to forcibly blur the target so you concentrate on your front sight . Side blinders may help you avoid distractions .

If you are into travel ( to Canada ) we have the Canadian Airgun Grand Prix in mid late feb. I believe it's the biggest airgun shootfest in N. America . I'm going to try my hand , and hopefully learn a bunch . We are unusual in that we have an air rapid fire event . In the interests of international...

I feel for you Bro. , my story is similar . It's like learning to walk all over again . Don't despair . I started again in late sept . , so far my best is 550 , and I'm averaging in the 525-535 area . It took me almost 3 months to get my stance and mechanics right , clubmates can be a great help , t...

Work your way inwards , hold the black , then try to keep to eight or better ...etc. Most importantly , have fun .Keep goals attainable but slightly above your comfort zone .

Rememder , due to longer barrel time , followthru is vital with air pistols .

Enjoy ,

Amen to forgetting about scores, I shot my first 550 three days ago , and became score obcessed , i eas unable to duplicate it . That taught me a valuable lesson , I'm now focussing on a clean shot process . The paperwork will take care of itself '

This is a piece of shoddy electioneering , the ruling Liberals are in a tight spot . They are trying to get as many votes as possible in left of center areas , and from left of center groups . If they get a majority gov. they can likley pull it off . They could in fact ban handguns at any time by me...

If after a while you want to upgrade the grips on your IZZY , Airguns of Arizona makes a nicer looking aftermarket grip set . By the way , go with the Izzy .

Justin , I,m mulling over the same question . For me it's a circle , and keeps leading back to the Walther GSP expert . Reliability seems high , mechanical simplicity is elegant , good availability on the secondary market , and a good deal of backwards/forwards parts compatability . I have heard of ...

I'm very new to matches , and had a rather ruff outing the first time out . I choose to regard it as a learning experience , I learned a whole bunch of things I'll never do again . Try to think of it as a learning experiance , concentrate on your basic mechanics , drink plenty of water , take your t...

What tools do you take to a match ?

What tools do you gents keep on hand when you go to matches ? Personally I have an assortment of screw drivers , hex keys , cleaning pellets , a plastic knitting needle , and a leatherman tool with a bit adapter . All my guns are Styers , with a Morini thrown in for good measure . Has our gracious h...

Canada being a prime case on point . It would even be an improvement if they would go for the British 6/12 footpound guideline .

It looks like a fun event , that would be interesting to watch . Seems a shame not to put those fine LP5's and 50's to work . Hi Shrek , yes it's me . I didn't want to impose on well prepared fellas like you . I'm getting spolled up , "O" ring tools , hex keys , drivers , parts etc. Having it pretty well covers you from ever needing it .

I've also been practicing a lot with the LP50 and the single mag .

What spares do you keep on hand ?

I currently use a Styer LP10 and LP50 , with a Morini in reserve . I shoot daily and will be participating in formal and in formal competition when possible . What basic spare parts kit should I keep on hand . I usually have an asortment of screw drivers and metric allen keys in my gun box .
