A guy at the club has one , it has caused some grief , velocity all over the map , doubling , etc . It is very ammo sensitive . All in all rather a shame as it appears to be a rather rugged little beast , when it was functioning well , it was quite accurate . On the plus side of the ledger , it has ...

You will be blown away , match AR s an AP s are probably the finest examples of the modern gunsmith-engineers art . It will also take some getting used to .

Enjoy !

The FWB should serve you well , and you can prolly sell it to some new guy for close to what you paid for it .

I own a Styer LG110 , and I am very happy with it . I like the takedown feature - I can get all my rifle stuff in one duffle . A clubmate of mine ( not typically an AR shooter borrowed mine , and shot a 587 , were it not foa couple of mental glitches and the piece being unfamiliar , he could have sh...

Many of us have a technical bent, it's hard to reverse the habits of a lifetime , and not try to " fix things " . Any data on whether lady shooters are less stubbornin this regard ?

I dont bother , my memory hasn't failed me yet . I do keep notes on settings on my AR , that way I can restore things to default in the event I try something new .

Your questions are pretty wide ranging , hard to answer without writing a chapter . The weight systems of the three pistols are quite different , check out the catalogues for illustration . FWIW , purchasing weights for the Morini is quite expensive ( $90.00 Canadian ) , Styer comes with as much wei...

How old is the prescription on your shooting glasses ? As I understand it prescriptions are only good for a couple of years . BTW , at our club , prolly our best pistol shot is 72 , who relearned how to shoot left handed after a saw accident in his late 50s , second to him is a fella about 66-67 . R...

Give the "old fart " sight setup a try , I use a 5mm front , the rear oppened pretty wide , and the sight radius shortened up as much as possible .

Assuming that all the horror stories cant be unfounded , I think I would stay away from Matchguns , service by the other major players is pretty well understood . None of the models you have listed are anything but top level examples of the art , any will serve you well '

You should be factoring parts availability into the equation . How much longer will spares for the 208 be around . Our host stocks FWB spares .

One thing to bear in mind is that FWB uses a different sized sight dovetail than Anchutz . Some ar shooters who also shoot smallbore , prefer the Anchutz as they can use the same sight accessories , and the same types of sights .

The FWB p44 is a very interesting gun , and looks very credible . To my uneducated finger the trigger felt on a par with the Morini , and superior to my LP10 ( bear in mind I have only inspected one example ). If I'd had large ammounts of spare cash , I would have been tempted . All that said , if I...

Ebs and Flow are normal , sounds like you are doing pretty well . Training usually happens in an area where your comfort level is high eg; home or at the club . Matches are more stressfull , dropping a few points is not uncommon . Remember that the slope gets steeper as the score gets better .Playin...

Dont get too hung up on score , it can screw up your enjoyment of the sport . It's about the journey , and trying for your personal best on any given day . As a newby , shoot mostly for group size .

The LP50 is a sweet shooter , I have produced some sweet groups with mine . It has a single stage trigger , which is very nice but not in the same class as the LP1/10 . Mine has never hiccupped , reliable as a traffic light , a clubmate of mine has an LP5 with an equally flawless reliability record ...
