Here in the US, I have bought "Tuf-Fill Mahogany" in the past, out of Ohio. Too bad you have to buy a full Gallon of the stuff. But I found I used most of it over the years. I even created a full, wrap-around Free Pistol grip entirely out of this material. Here is the link... http://www.fr...

I used to have a Bauska Drulov 75 free pistol. Decent, maybe even good, introductory pistol with s set trigger, designed for the purpose. Under $400 easily. I've seen some for under $300 recently. Do a Google search on Drulov Model 75. There are other, introductory FPs out there too, just can't reca...

Well, I bought my Steyr "CO2 Match" errr, LP1 P (ser. no. 701027) from Don Nygord in Feb. 1991, and had the trigger tuned by a US Shooting Team member while attending Erich Buljung's Masters Pistol Camp that following Summer in Colorado Springs. Best I can tell by looking at it is conventi...

Coach White, how come you do not just go ahead and order the Steyr cases? Is the dollar amount different that big? I had already sent an email off to Negrini about shipping costs, and it turns out they have a US dealer that might be able to save us some on shipping. Unfortunately, they don't stock ...

I dont know about that. My Aeron Spider has the same. According to the factory, it was designed that way. My new pcp converted Steyr LP5 has the same, as does the Tau MK300. So there are lots of pcp's that have this. The CO2's are slowly loosing CO2 as well. My Steyr Lp1-P is 25 years old. Last tim...

External adjustment features might also depend on the discipline... an extra knob on a Free Pistol would not be a problem. But on the AP in your example, any knob long enough to be grippable might run afoul of the rules when the pistol is placed in the control box. Morini didn't like your idea possi...

Just yesterday, the green breech o-ring split on my CO2 Match (LP1-P). So, I replaced both breech seals, for only the second time... Not bad for a 23 year-old pistol. I'm now out of OEM green seals. But that's OK, since my local O-ring dealer has lots of 2m x 6m o-rings... maybe even the green ones....

Just my opinion, but above 555, AP shifts from a mechanical game to a mental game. You've put in your "practice-practice-practice" and built the necessary "muscle memory" technique. 20,000 rounds a year, etc. I was plateaued at this point myself (I imagine all of us have been, ri...

In response to my email request, I just received an email from Steyr SPORT GmbH. They say my "CO2 Match" pistol is now called the "LP 1 P" with the part I need interchangeable with the LP1.

Thanks.

This depends on which Pardini you have. All of the older variants, P10, K58, K60, K10, etc, have rounded frames where the stock screw inserts. The grips have corresponding, rounded inletting. The Walthers I am familiar with all have rectangular frames, and rectangular grip inletting. So, it's not li...

About the closest the Olympics has to Standard Pistol is 25m Women's Sport Pistol (SP). And that is totally different I didn't write they were the same, did I? Stated another way, Standard Pistol (.22lr) is closer to Olympic Women's SP (also .22lr) than it is to Air Pistol, or any other Olympic Pis...

I want to buy a couple parts as spares so I can modify the loading lever. I want to know if the two pistols have interchangeable parts. I'm not sure the term "LP1CP" helps me determine this.

Please clarify.

Evolution of Names for Steyr 10m Air Pistols

I have an original Steyr "CO2 Match" air pistol which I bought in 1990 or 1991. CO2 powered, of course. Serial number 701027. Externally, it looks like an LP1 that came along later. My question is are these two pistols the same, the only difference being the name? Was the name later change...
