Re: Para eligible junior on my team

Glad to hear you are working with a young athlete with a physical disability. This is a great sport for many of them and they often have a profound impact on the club/team. Many of their events are similar to the able-bodied events and relatively easy to include them. NRA and CMP have different ways...

Re: Best airgun against Zombies?

I was impressed by the Umarex Hammer. Get a few of their rotten zombie skulls in a straight line and save ammo too. https://www.umarexusa.com/umarex-hammer-50-cal-air-rifle-spotlight Of course, if you want one a little older... https://warfarehistorynetwork.com/2016/12/13/lewis-and-clarks-girandoni-...

Depends on your sight height above the barrel.
Some people use a two step front sight base with 2 levels to minimize clicks.

Re: Is the Success ratio 90-10% ??

...and the athlete is responsible for getting a good rifle or pistol/ammo combo, so 90% + 10% = 100% A more helpful answer is that live fire is a way to get feedback on your performance and process. Good ammo provides more "truthful" feedback which should help you learn and progress more q...

Re: How to use a sling

Glad to see VC4HSS has that article archived. I don't think CMP has it anymore? While it does cover the basics and addresses both sporter and precision, if you read it carefully it has several good high level tips woven in (like most of the material in my coach & athlete clinics). Combine it wit...

Re: Need advice, light rifle

The Walther KK500-M Ultra Light has a shorter, thinner barrel which should allow a much more upright position, particularly if you keep the buttplate length short. It is about 12 lbs (5.5kg) total.

Re: MATH RIDDLE: sight adjust from 5m to 10meters

Looks like you'll need to come down about 15 clicks when you go from 5m to 10m.
It is not very sensitive to how far out your hold area is (i.e. center vs. six vs. sub-six)
It is more sensitive to the average pellet speed which I am making some assumptions on...

Re: One Left-One Right-One Smallbore??

The bolt can be switched in seconds using the bolt tool/rod guide supplied with the rifle. The grip is attached with one screw, so an easy swap as well. FYI, the grip angle is adjustable on a ball joint. Most athletes leave it in one setting for all 3 positions. It is likely your daughters could fin...

Re: One Left-One Right-One Smallbore??

The KK500 bolt is easy to convert from right to left and back (n.b. changing ejection direction is possible, but probably not practical on a frequent basis). R and L grips are easy to swap too. Rear sights with 2 windage knobs are common, minimizing expense and how much they re-zero vs. swapping sig...

Re: Lg 400 problem

The speed would have to be VERY slow for you to run out of adjustment. If your sights are not broken, you almost certainly have the wrong combination of risers and sights. Try something higher in back or lower in front. You may also post photo(s) if still confused.

"he shot off a table on his wheel chair, shooting prone with elbows on table and offhand with arms off table." Sounds like you've got the right basic idea already. To get started, find whatever it takes to get the rifle or pistol safely pointed at the target and start shooting. You and the...

Re: Question about my chair for paralumpic shooting?

Clear in rule 2.3.3 that you and your chair must be behind the red line. The next rule allows an offhand stand (that you do not touch while taking a shot) to touch the floor ahead of the firing line. This as always been applied as anything touching the floor during the shot must be behind the line. ...

I am also a big fan of using sight risers with iron sights and 3P.
The height of the risers does NOT have any effect on cant sensitivity.
The bullet does not know how high your sights are.
