Walther SSP

I had the same trouble with understanding the trigger mechanism and on top of that neither English nor German are my first languages. Finally took the trigger apart to see how it worked and have now adjusted it (somewhat) to my liking. I like the way SSP feels in my hand. It is very balanced, sights...

I use Mpro-7, sometimes only. Most of the time I have noticed the wax buildup will come off easily and the feed ramp looks shiny just after cleaning with a soft cloth.

I am over 5000 rounds but haven't done any major cleaning (taking apart the pistol) yet. I do clean the chamber area with a cloth and that is it. Actually I find it easier to clean this ahcmber area on this pistol compared to the others that I own. I noticed tonight while shooting a practice match t...

Any Walther SSP owners here?

How old is you pistol? I shoot an SSP and felt the same musshyness in the begining, but as I shot it more & more, it got better. I have not had any issues with the slide not closing fully. I used to shoot Eley standard, but we had so many problems with the last batch that we gave up and now I am...

Just spoke to my gunsmith. I was indeed a broken firing pin. He has fixed it and I will be picking up the bolt tonight.

Again thanks for the help.

Vostok MC

Thanks for the replies & advice. I did clean the chamber area with a bronze brunsh and now I can feed in a .22LR into the chamber. But the firing pin still doesn't make a dent on the rim. I guess I have to take it to a Gunsmith. Luckily it does have some spare in the box that came with it and I ...

Vostok Free Pistol

Hello I bought a Vostok MC 2-3 free pistol. I don't know anything about Free Pistols and have some questions. First, has anybody on this list any experience with this particular model. I tried the internet and the best was Potter firearms has a schematic on their web site. I had about 4 pages of the...

May be I will be able to see my sights too....

A quick question though. Do I paint both front & back sight or just the front sight.

Thanks
