Re: Walther CP2 Match - stability issue

Intriguing. Appears your Walther CO2 - CP2M is a stubborn specimen. The symtoms of the problem: - The amount of propellant gas released by discharge varies quite a bit. - The amount of propellant gas decreases (and so does pellet velocity) during an extended string of shots. Your hammer spring issue...

Discontinued?

I have repeatedly been told (latelly) the LP 50 E-version is no longer available, due to trigger issues. Is that a fact?

Re: SURVEY: Why not a grip adjustable from outside ?

In the case of Matchguns pistols I guess that you have to slide the tools in between grip and body to access the screws, right? Or did you modify them? No modification. Just turn gripbolt some, then the small hexbolt is accessible, and can be adjusted easily. Also it is just on screw, passing from ...

Re: SURVEY: Why not a grip adjustable from outside ?

Why not having a grip adjustable in horizontal rotation .... However I need changing the rotation of the grip often, Having to remove the grip is not handy. A step screw would be a dream! Been there, done that. Well, at least Matchguns has. Just turn the gripbolt a couple turns anticlockwice, then ...

Most free pistols already are "striker fired".
Imagine a free pistol, visible hammer, the firing pin integrel part of the hammer, like a revolver...

I cannot recomend the MG4. Too complicated.
Pardini .32 is probably one of the better choises at present.

More than 90 degree stance could actually be more comfortable than both less than 90 degree stance or 90 degree stance. Just as someone had mentioned earlier (later deleted), you just have to squeeze your gluteus maximus and minor butt muscles tight. That be me. I deleted my post about the 90+ stan...

headspace problems?

Pure speculation: if the barrel is too far to the rear, the bolt will not close perfectly, the gun should not fire. A buildt-in safety feature. If the headspace is at mimimum, and some force is applied to chamber the chartridge, this may explain why the gun sometimes will fire, sometimes not. Just m...

Not that easy...

Well, there are some complications: At the top of the frame, the barrel is fixed by two screws through the frame, each one entering a drilled recess at the top of the barrel. They are in fact porposedly entering this recesses slightly off-center. By unscrewing one screw some degrees, and then tighte...

MG5

I investigated this some, last night. From your photo it appears the cutout for the extractor at the rear end of the chamber of your gun is a bit deeper than that of my gun. Regarding "tight" chamber: I chambered, and then extracted, several unfired cartridges of different brands. For some...

Tight chambers of FPs, commonly.

The chamber of my MG5 is tight, too. Most brands og cartridges have to be pushed in by considerable finger pressure. Magtech rounds chamber more easily, though, as do some Remington ammo. Cartridge cases do bulge int the extractor groove,at firing, usually, some brands more than others. Have not had...

none perfect?

Early ones were tricky, either they worked or they didn't. .. Sorry, but he current ones have issues, too... Pardini have reliability problems, caused by the magazines. Magazines are a bit narrow, and short, at the lips. This problem has persisted for several years. (Why don`t Pardini cure that?) A...

I am thinking that the "adjusting the barrel" video is what you need.? The instructions in that video cured the problem! Thanks. Does it feel like the lever is camming over slightly when you fully close it? "Camming over sligthly" it was, yes. I bought this gun brand new from th...

LP 10 cocking lever problem

The cocking handle (lever) of my LP 10 moves (unlocks) some at discharge. A noticeabale short blow av air can be felt at the upper side of my index finger at discharge. The clockwice movement of the lever at discharge is usually only a couple of degrees of angle, but varies some from shot to shot. O...
