Not all guns can be adjusted for velocity / pressure especially SSP's. Typically pistols have less power than rifles, so pistol shooters shoot lighter pellets to keep velocity levels up to where they desire them to be. Also some guns shoot better with lighter or heavier pellets, so this can be a fac...

Thanks for the response, you provided me with one of those face slap moments! LOL I didn't want to hassle with tapping a hole (don't have the tools or anyone to borrow from), but I didn't think about the guard being plastic! Problem solved I'll just drill it myself and tap it with the screw. Thanks ...

Yes but ... Since I'm cheap I still have to move the camera, even with pistol! I print up a 6m pistol target that squeezes 5 bulls on a letter size piece of paper for use in my letter sized, home-cobbled together silent bullet trap. But you are correct, moving over the rifle multi-bull target really...

I believe you are correct with security cameras, you would not be happy with the FOV and resolution. Even with my camcorder, I need to activate the digital zoom feature to get tight enough to score my shots from afar. It's a bit of a pain to move the camera from bull to bull when zoomed in that tigh...

...I can place my shooting arm anywhere from straight ahead to 90 degrees and never have to rotate my wrist and the pistol stays in the same alignment with the are throughout...Thanks. If you can do this with your head anywhere near erect, lucky you. Probably only about 1 degree, but it is there. W...

What about wrist position? In a full side stance the pistol is in line with forearm in the natural position. If you move towards a front stance the barrel needs to be rotated towards the right so much that grip adjustment is not enough, or one needs to rotate the wrist in an unnatural position. I'm...

I do a similar thing on my home 6m range since my spotting scopes will not focus that close. I set my handheld video camera on the table right next to my pellet tin, place it on standby and zoom in on the bull. I use the cameras viewing screen to see my shots. Works well and lets me use what I alrea...

Trigger upgrade on 853 question ...
Sporter rules state: Only factory manufactured parts designed for the specific model gun being fired may be used. The Pilk trigger upgrade includes drilling and tapping a screw in the trigger guard. The same trigger guard is used on the 888, and it's already drilled and tapped. So it's an easy drop ...

I'm not arguing with you at all here ... I agree that the triggers are a very weak spot on these guns. I have never used the 953, but have a played with the 7's and 8's. They do use many of the same parts, but I've not seen a problem as bad as you describe. But what do I know ... there are folks her...

This is not normal. You need a new latch spring, and perhaps a new latch as well. They are ordered as a set and only cost $1.00 so you might as well throw in a seal kit and maybe some extra spacers if you need them because the shipping will be the same. Part # 853-29 You need to call Daisy direct to...
