That is good news. It's very similar to what Doc proposed.

It's not clear how the World Championship team selection will be done for CF Pistol and Standard Pistol. Perhaps that will be in the second selection match?

Re: Reloading Press

I did not think Dillon made a single stage press? Only turret progressive machines. I will check out their web site. Thanks, Neil I don't see it on Dillon's Web site, but I have seen this in their catalog. You can buy their 550B press stripped down (and cheap) as a single stage press. They also off...

Re: shooting shoes alternative

Have a look at Vans - Skateboard shoes. Very comfortable, flat bottoms, way cool styles, great prices. Dennis Lindenbaum These are definitely the best alternative to the real thing. If you go to an outlet store, you'll probably find a pair that works for about $30 to $50. The only disadvantage to t...

REMEMBER: When the shot breaks, the gun tends to move to the shooter's natural alignment/aim point. I have found this to be true, also. That's why, when finding my NPA, I don't simply close my eyes, raise and then see where I am. I actually dry fire the shot with my eyes closed and then see where I...

The USAS rule allowing scopes is in effect for two reasons:

1. USAS allows multiple shots per AP target.

2. Some clubs do not have target carriers.

In both instances, the use of a scope is totally reasonable.

Re: New Pardini .22 and .32 setup, spares and query help

One thing I do notice is the new electronic grip's rake angle has changed, it is even more relaxed now compared with the old SP/SP New grips. It takes some getting use to. trinity Trinity, If you can, can you compare the grip angle on the new Pardini electronic pistols to a Morini 162EI? It sounds ...

Steve,

I have the Hammerli grip paste, and according to Larry's, the ratio is 25:1. This works for me. It takes 2 or 3 minutes for it to set with this ratio, but at least you don't get burned by an overly hot mixture.

If you and Steve Swartz were in the same room together with lots of refreshments, I could listen to you two guys discuss this for days. Good stuff!

I agree. My research some years ago provided the same answer - the human eye most easily sees green.

I think you are right Mark. In the same way that records start with a clean sheet when new targets are introduced, IMHO they should also start afresh with such a major equipment change. USA Shooting did wipe their RF records clean just before the 2005 Nationals in June. Their Web page hasn't been u...

The Pardini HP is a very good choice. The only issue is the bore is very tight, so be sure to slug it and buy appropriately sized bullets.

Re: electronic feel

One of the Pardini electronic "Rapid Fire" refused to work properly during a training session the other day, with no warning. A new set of batteries brought it back into business. I think Pardini had better build some kind of indicator of battery status into the system. Thanks for the inf...

Re: reliable cycling/battery life

Several of my fellow shooters have purchased .22 pardinis lately. Mostly mech. versions, but two shooters have gone "electric". The experiences are so far mixed: With the electronic versions battery life is suprisingly short. I have not got an exact number of shots pr. battery set, but I ...
