Bullet feed for XL650

Guys, This company had previously developed a bullet feed attachment for the Dillon XL650 press, and now they've added a rotary hopper for it. Very cool. This means XL650 users just need to pull that handle and keep feeding the beast. http://www.gsiinternational.com/pages/4/index.htm There is one pr...

I have shot both the Lapua “Rapid” cartridge and the Pistol King today in the New SP1 electronic. You may be interested to know that the S&K OSP25 is identical to the Lapua “Rapid” ammunition. Only the packaging is changed and may be available at a lower cost in some countries than the Lapua bo...

Guys,

Thanks for the info. Thank goodness for calculators! ;-)

I looked for the link on the High Noon site, but I didn't see it. Did I miss it?

Reducing targets correctly?

If one is reducing a 25m target (used with 22 caliber) to 10m (used with 4.5mm), what is the proper reduction? 4.5mm is proportionately too large for a simple reduction. If you assume the hole made by a 22 bullet measures 5.56mm, then the reduction for 10m becomes 2.224mm. So, doesn't the reduced 10...

TAU-7 repair?

A friend of mine, in the USA, has a TAU 7 that is 6 or 7 years old but only with a few hundred shots through it. It has developed a problem where it completely leaks out a new cylinder within a few seconds of installing it. What are his choices for having it repaired and the approximate cost? He doe...

ISSF pistol targets?

Does the ISSF make available downloads of their targets at a print quality level? If so, where might I find them? I don't see them on the ISSF site. If not, does anyone know of a source for the target images? I'm looking specifically for the 25m/50m precision target and the 25m rapid fire target, co...

David, You are correct about the old rule number. I simply use that 2001 book for quick reference. It's faster than checking the current pdf. Regarding 8.6.1.2 and 8.6.1.3, they seem to conflict because there is no way that any pistol held at 45 degrees or less is pointed at the backstop. An AD from...

Another advantage with a revolver during the duelling stage is the fact you can recock the action and momentarily relieve pressure off your shooting arm. Having a sore shooting shoulder and shooting 5 international events in one day, every bit helps. What do the ISSF rules says about relaxing your ...

Bob,

Which RWS and SK ammo have you been using? It's good to hear they have been reliable. And, you have not checked the velocity yet?

Canadian shooters in their sights now?

Sounds like good old fashioned, obnoxiously liberal American ideas are spreading north:

Didn't the Brazilians just defeat a similar attack?

When you load with N310, what charge do you use? And, is this with the 98gr Lapua bullet?

Bullseye vs. N310 in .32 S&W Long?

It appears to me that these two powders are very similar. Has anyone seen a clear advantage of one over the other when loading the Lapua 98gr LWC? Does one measure better than the other through powder measures?
