Re: purple aluminum stock for Anschutz barreled action

I came across this Austrian website: http://www.froewis.co.at/sportschiessen/gewehrschaefte/anschuetz/index.html so yes, I think that the Precise stocks can be anodized. This topic has been discussed a few years ago in this thread: http://targettalk.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=32135&hilit=anodize

Re: Eley Test Centers

You can do your batch testing in Birmingham and then get the selected lot(s) imported by North Sylva, in Toronto.

Front Sight Lens Question

As I wanted to give it a try in our any sight smallbore prone matches, I bought a 1.5X foresight lens for my Centra DUO-Glass front tunnel. It's a 22mm. As I use a bloop tube, the distance between my front tunnel and my rear sight is about 41''. Even when I crank up my front sight iris to its maximu...

Re: Bleiker and Grünig versus Anschütz

I don't know what his go-to gun is at this point but at Rocky Mountains last month he was shooting a round action Anschutz in a G&E stock.

Re: NEW BARREL?

I have a 1913 action that was rebarreled with a 2-groove, 16 1/2 twist Benchmark. The barrel was threaded in the action. I had excellent results with this rifle at the Eley test range. The best Tenex lot gave me 12.6mm average and a consolidated score of 427.5. Needless to say, I am very happy with ...

Re: Winchester 52D -Still Competitive in Smallbore Prone?

you'll have a rifle whose trigger is not as good as the current Anschutz or Walther rifles
Sorry to disagree with you Mr Barron but as far as I'm concerned, I've used a Kenyon for more than 6 years on my 1900 series Anschütz and I would never go back to a 5018.....

50-Foot USAS 50 Smallbore Target Scoring

I'm not very familiar with these targets and I want to make sure I score them properly. I have an outward guage that I got from ESP for scoring 10 to 4 rings. The diameter of the flange is .3525'' When does a shot is considered a 9 ? When the flange touches the 7 ring or when the flange extends beyo...

Target approach problem in prone

I know that the bullseye in prone has to be approached from 6'oclock. My scores are very good (585-590) but I know that I have a problem with my approach. When I exhale, my front sight enters the target from 7 o'clock to 1 o'clock direction. Do you have any idea about what causes that ?

For prone, I love my Weaver T24 with a 1/2 MOA dot. To get the proper eye relief, I use an Anschütz rail: http://jga.anschuetz-sport.com/index.ph ... hoerID=808

Spirit Level Question

I'm looking for a new screw-on spirit level for my 22mm Gehmann front sight. The one I had in the past was also a Gehmann but was not lockable. I had to adjust it everytime I took the rifle out of its case. Is there a spirit level model that can be ''locked'' in position ?

Thanks !

Do you think it could be used for live firing on multi-bull targets (such as USA-50, AR-5/10, etc) ?
