Re: what mods do the shooters do to the Crosman Challenger rifle to make it better?

Yes sir, the only "major" mod would be for the gauge as it's on the side rather than the bottom. Heck call and ask them, they may have one just for them now. I actually used the Discovery air tube so my gauge is on the bottom, but even the factory stock on that one is pretty decent. I was ...

Re: what mods do the shooters do to the Crosman Challenger rifle to make it better?

Whitefox, my decision to get the FWB fell to a very good deal I got here on the board from a shooters father. The shooter was going to college and was not continuing to compete at the time so I was able to purchase the 800X for my daughter who was shooting 4-H and moving into precision. They also pr...

Re: what mods do the shooters do to the Crosman Challenger rifle to make it better?

Whitefox, I realize this is a bit old, but as for your question regarding the junior shooters, they must stay bone stock. That said, I have played around with too many air rifles and pistols to count and the Crosman's sometimes benefit from either a custom barrel band that has clamping screws both t...

Re: 1st PCP: LG400 or FWB800X

I too have an 800X and in addition to the adjust-ability of it to get a perfect fit, I too concur with the wonderful trigger. Another plus for me at least is the virtually perfect balance of the rifle on the forestock. I have several ruptured and compressed disks, but I can hold the rifle with a sin...

Re: Field Target Shooting forum advice

Perhaps try the GTA,and ask about a Vendor gate just for your wares. There is a thriving Field Target, along with several other groups there, and they are an international forum like this one. Very friendly, just drop by and contact the forum leader.

Replacement bolt handles and other extras for T200 & S200?

Hey all, anybody know of anyone in the states making replacement bold handles or trigger blades/sets for the AA/CZ T200 and S200 Rifles? I found Rowan Engineering in the UK, and their prices are fair, but he shipping will get you. So do we have a state side person or company making some of the same ...

Re: Any good platforms to build an FT rifle on?

I tend to agree on the M-Rod or the AA T200, or could also consider the Hammerli AR20 specifically purchased with the FT regulator. Will definitely need a nice quality side wheel scope, and tons of practice learning how to read wind flags at different distances. The M-Rod in a Boyds stock would be a...

Re: Any Ideas for fundraisers for small groups

Also hit up your local Tractor Supply stores, if you have a Chick Fil-A they run fund raisers where you simply show up and they give you a percentage of the nights receipts. Wendy's burgers also does this, as I found out, along with Chilpotle, among others. I generally also hit up the local gun stor...
