It looks good but I'm not holding my breath. IMHO, Russian manufacturers still seem to be working to a near-Soviet model of production and appear to be unable to come to grips with the basic concepts of supply and demand (a point I've made before in relation to similar firearms). The designs are fan...

We don't have corruption (that I know of) in Denmark, but I can assume it must be a real pain. *SIGH* Yes, yes. Go on, gloat ! Gloat ! - and make everybody else envious: http://www.ambtallinn.um.dk/en/menu/TheEmbassy/News/CorruptionInDenmarkLowestInTheWorld.htm Alexander Ahem...(cough cough) I do b...

Remove screw cap on the front of the cylinder which covers the fill valve. In the middle of the valve is a small nipple. Holding the cylinder firming in both hands, push the nipple against a hard surface. If the pressure is high it may take a fair push, but eventually the nipple will push in and any...

The lack of available ammunition and reloading components are throwing a crimp in my training. Is this a problem in other countries too? Here in New Zealand prices have also rocketed. I had hopes at the start of the year that things would not get too crazy because of the dramatic fall in the world ...

Is it just me, or does V-V N310 seem to produce a sharper recoil impulse than perhaps 231 or WST? I played around with 1.3gr N310 and found that it seemed to produce as much recoil as a 1.8gr load of 231. Me too. I found N310 to be one of the fastest burning powders I have ever come across - to the...

Good to see that the great man is still looking quite sprightly. Unfortunately I feel that unless there is some fundamental shift in the manner in which industry and manufacturing operates in Russia, it is unlikely that this pistol will become commonly available. We have seen the situation with Khai...

If you are on a tight budget, I suggest the new(ish) Lee "Classic" turret press. It's a four station semi-progressive (so you can fit a fourth crimp-only die) and is a huge improvement over their older aluminium turret press (i.e. the non-classic version which they still sell). It will acc...

What is "white spirits". Here in Canberra I've asked around at hardware stores etc over the years and no-one knows what I am talking about. Is it Turpentine or a derivative? Is acetone too harsh as a solvent? White spirits is also known as Stoddard Solvent, though I think that is a term u...

Re: 84e battery condition???

But how can I definitely test before the match starts? Perhaps a small volt meter? Hold down the test button while dry firing several times. The LED should dim for an instant with each trigger pull and then quickly come back to full strength. If it seems sluggish to return from its dim state, you m...

Do you know where that report is available in English?

My French is not very good at all.
Copy the URL into Babelfish, toggle the language option over to French-English and click "translate". While the result is far from perfect, you can get the general idea.

Try Taipan projectiles made by Malcolm Bone

Taipan bullets have a reputation for excellent quality control (certainly better than Bullzi) and offer a swaged .32 HBWC in three different sizes.

Their website is at www.bulletmaker.com

I know of someone who acquired a new Korth revolver in .32 for ISSF centrefire a couple of years ago - so yes - they are still going. It certainly is a quality piece with the most beautiful blueing I’ve ever seen on a handgun and innards polished to a mirror finish. Apparently it was one of the last...

victore1965 - as others have pointed out, the essential difference is whether the cylinder can be inter-changed. In terms of trigger quality, sights, balance, "shootability" etc, the 162e is the same as the newer model - so if you are being offered a 162e at a good price, it is worth getti...

I think you will see some changes soon though- probably the elimination of 25 meter events due to lack of participation. 10 meter is growing and may get rapid fire as well as women's sport. The cost of a separate venue for 25 meters has always been an issue, but that lands in the lap of the host co...
