There are quite a few dealers in Oz who trade in new Manuhrin.
I think Parabellum Imports distribute them, amongst others.
They could also be a source for Izh35s

Flinch
It could be you have some unnoticed cant using a sub-six hold, in which case you may need a few clicks left or right to correct when moving to a centre aim.

Roll triggers on air pistol
Traditionally clean break triggers have been used for precision, roll for faster events.

Perception of trigger release
Perception of movement is much better than perception of change in force, plus your muuscles tire. Which is why as you hold a weight it seems to get heavier and heavier. I find a clean break trigger hard to use for this reason. On the other hand with a roll trigger there is always movement to control.

Roll-over vs clean break
Perfect clean break: As force is on the trigger is increased to the ignition point, zero trigger movement occurs. At the point of break the trigger causes the gun to discharge, the trigger is then free to move back. Often it is stopped by a set screw. At the point of break trigger force can either d...

Centrefire
I used sub six for precision and sights slightly above centre for rapid. Essentially the middle of the foresight dead centre in the target. This helps concentrates my tiny brain on the sights during rapid, and prevents looking 'over' the sights for the shot to appear, particularly with wadcutters A ...

Flat base wadcutters
I always had better results with flat base wadcutters than hollow, both in terms of accuracy and yawing.
Not sure why.

As it was an old stock item is there a chance they would waive the setup fee? They should have a cutter already.

LP10 vs LP50
In theory the LP50 will be less accurate as there is a gap and a jump from magazine to chamber.
The trigger is also a compromise compared with the LP10.
So for dedicated single shot shooting the LP10 is better, the LP50 is a good all-rounder.

Trigger set up can take some doing, and on mine the disconnector geometry is marginal. If the slide is about 1mm back the trigger disconnects. Combined with an extractor with overtravel and a heavy spring if you tweak the slide back to check there is a round in the chamber and it does not go fully f...

Grip
I agree with Fred. If you need a very grippy surface then there is something fundamentally not right with your grip. A smooth grip should work fine, if it doesn't you have work to do. Having said that I texture my grips lightly with a fine point on a dremel. I would be interested to know how FAS and...

Shooting
Yes, that was a long post :) but a valuable contribution. There seem to be two schools of though, one at the AP end, one at the RF end. I know what works for me, but its worth being reminded. Like Ed I am back to shooting after a long break. Personally I find each discipline teaches me something, wh...

Subconscious shot
Does anyone have the figures for reaction times, conscious or unconscious? I believe you can train yourself to release at more or less the optimum moment, by increasing trigger pressure as your aim settles down. Otherwise I don't believe the human mental reaction and muscular response times are quic...

Exercises
Shooting with your eyes shut is an excellent exercise, as is shooting on a blank target. Smooth trigger release is much more important than perfect sight alignment, at 25m anyway. I don't agree with the idea you can consciously or unconsciously release the trigger at the precise moment the sights ar...

You can use a normal drill press if you're desperate, usually better than a hammer.
Just remember to unplug it, and if its a cheap one to prop the table.

RoHS
The purpose of RoHS does seem to be to remove lead from a mixed waste stream. Used consumer products, which have short lives now, are hard to separate out. Pure lead where it can be largely recovered at end of life, eg roofing, is not such a big deal. I doubt target shooting, if it can be shown the ...

Blowback operation
There is no real reason why 0.32 S+WL is 'at the limits' of blowback operation', I'm not sure where this statement has come from. The chamber pressure and breech opening curves are the important features. To compare (Hodgdon Data) 0.32 S+WL 90gr WC 844fps, 10,200 psi 0.380 Auto 90gr JHP 955fps 15,00...
