Nice shooting
4.3 WST hard to beat, I am down to 4.1 during the summer, you get by with 3.8? WOW how dirty must feel like a 22 LR. Are you using a #10 spring?

Any Good?
Anyone have a pet load with these using
W231
Bullseye
or
WST
I like 4.1/4.2 WST 200gn SWC
3.6 Bullseye
And so far I have failed to find a W231 recipe that shoots bad
4.6 seems good for me using 200gn swc and 5.2 on the long line.

Are K-22's really that expensive
I have never seen one priced under $1000 if at all
Seems a little out of whack when I can buy a K-38 for $600 to $1200
Is there another alternative that shoots well?

Not a good idea but it you want to use your pistol to hunt or plink Marvel Unit One with a HD heavy recoil spring, Rugers Mark I I I and I used to have a Bronwing Buckmark that loved CCI blazer.

cmp rule changes
Kinda ridiculous the service pistol matches don't include current service pistols such as the sig 226, Socom 1911s, or HK. I am against calibars other than 45acp, 38 Spl, or 9mm. The service pistol match should be any service pistol past or present with iron sights. The idea of buying a 3000 hard ba...

recoil springs
You cannot tell therefore you should be very careful when switching springs. 1) I keep an equipment log and note which springs I need for mid level loads and light loads. Generally the spring that ejects the brass at my feet is the ideal spring with a certain load. Stove pipes mean the spring is too...

1911 grips
Dave Lange told me the benefit of anatomical grips is the grip is the same every time Zinns and other high masters say they use slabs because trigger feel, is better I am not much better than you and I find I shoot 10 to 50 points better with adjustable grips. And with iron sights it depends if the ...

Right side of Ambi safety
Can you remove the right side of an ambi safety and make it a standard safety. It's for a bullseye gun and I never engage the safety anyhow. if i need to make the gun safe i am better off dropping the mag and emptying the chamber anyhow. I don't want the bother of fitting a standard safety. It falls...

I would call Larrys looks like it's integrated into the upper and requires extensive machining.
Larrys might sell the uppers, will be $$$$

I had a similar problem with mine Make sure mag is inserted all the way I have and egw but did not fit it to my frame as the problem went away after 500 rounds. If using composite mags debur the follower and top of mag with 600 grit sand paper, makes a world of difference. I use case lube on all my ...

My benelli eats anything from Blazer to Aquila and it seems to shoot best with CCI standard or Blazer. funny thing get worse groups with Lapua and Eley. With Aquila you have to sort the bullets but it shoots well too and CMP prices can't be beat. Outside of Pardinis and Walters the poor Eastern Euro...

If you are looking for good sights and reliable then a Benelli Mp 90 is for you. at 1500 you get adjust grips, a very good trigger and the sight set is very good.

hammerli xesse sport
I would recommend that gun before most others. benelli, hammerlis, pardinis and S&W are 400 more to start. I have a Marvel and it shoots ok and my benelli shoots great after I upgraded the grips. That Hammerli has the nice balance like a hi standard citation. The key to the hammerli is its accur...
