Does anyone know the pricing for a one or two shooter set up? Like a complete package for a small range or competitor could purchase for practice? I bet I could get my small club to pony up and get a set if they are reasonable. If the sport goes this way, I wanna help get myself and others up to spe...

I hope the NRA doesn't end up doing their R&D during Perry! It does sound as if they are full steam ahead, so I am glad I at least got to compete at Perry once (2013) before the change. Dave Great point Dave. It would certainly make sense to have practice matches on this new system, and them NO...

I like seeing an X in the center of the target. It's what I shoot at and use to put my red dot on when I fire. I wonder if the new electronic targets could / would have a nice white X in the middle.

This is the 2nd 10x target he has shot. The last one was about 4 years ago at a regional in CT, and it was with his 45... A Springfield a Armory 1911 that was built about 16 years ago and has yet to be freshened up (that's coming soon). This 22 target 10x was shot with his Hamerli with RWS target am...

Perfect target

Paul Valintakonis shot this perfect 10X target in timed fire for his team match at Camp Perry. Paul shoots for Team Springfield and is a HM shooter.

In my latest testing, this GT45 does seem most accurate with 4.4-4.6 grains of bullseye, 1.21 oal, 470 crimp or 469. It shoots as accurate as my wad 1911 which is a 1.5" gun at 50 yards.

I won't start testing lead rounds til later in the summer. Just shooting the Nosler 185 JHP so far.

If the GT45 does not go all the way into battery, the trigger should not pull. Maybe if the round is not seated all the way in (mine does this with Federal GM45b) it just quite doesn't go all the way into battery. If it's out just a bit, right on the line of where it locks out the trigger, maybe tha...

If you look at the angle you can see the older style left one has a longer and less degree of angle. The newer one on the right is the updated and improved version. If yours is an older Nygord or Larry's imported model, I suggest getting the new one if it hasn't been updated yet. It ejects the brass...

If you handle, rack the slide, break it down, put the magazine in and out, and feel how nice you can set the trigger of a GT45, I can almost guarantee you will buy one. Awesome guns right off the shelf.

The left one is older style and worn. Right one is newer style, improved angle, and a fresh one.

My older GT used to eject straight up and back, but not FTE. When I changed the ejector to a new one, which is an updated angle and design, it corrected it. Maybe your ejector is worn, a bit rounded, which could cause?

Gt45

So, I have stuck with my GT45 for this outdoor season against everyone telling me to switch to a 1911. I was struggling with long line accuracy until today. I finally found a load combo that was holding X ring off a good bench rest. 4.4 grains of bullseye, 1.21 oal, .470 crimp, with a Nosler 185 JHP...

New 2600 club member

Congrats to Adam Kopstein of NJ for joining the 2600 club today at an outdoor match in Gibbsboro NJ. Not only did he pass that mark of 2600, he went right past 2610 and 2620 for a final match score of 2622.

Re: Winchester

Has anyone ever tested the factory ammo Winchester Super X? It's a 32 auto and it's a lead hollow point. It looks like a lead mini Nosler or a lead version of the Hornady XTP....which makes me think it make fly straight. I found a couple boxes today of old stock and bought them. I will bench test t...

32 mags

Pistol champ, my HP seems to have outgrown the alibis. I just assumed the gun is really broken in now after 2500 rds or so. If it does it again I will change over to the 22 mag springs. Thanks for that tip.

Hand loads

I have brass and primers and can probably find some Hornady XTP bullets. Does anyone on this thread want to make me some hand loaded 32 ACP rounds? I will pay you for your time and powder and supply the brass, primers, and bullets. I want some hand loads with the same velocity as factory Hornady but...

Re: Powder for 32 acp

Can anyone identify what the make of the powder is that Hornady is using? I took one apart and it is a sphere that has been flattened some. they are pretty big flakes compared to either WST or Titegroup which are flatter and smaller. The Hornady powder is a lot thicker and has round edges and the a...
