Re: Allowable materials for air pistol grips?
No rules on material of the grip in the rules, but it needs to be safe.

Re: Loosing stability without feeling tired
It's pretty hard for me to give much feedback on the information you have provided, but I will give some general tips. If you post some video either here or via DM/email I will have a look. Low blood sugar will cause the described symptoms. Hand full of dates half-hour before shooting will help. Gra...

But probably a similar mission completion rate? lol, I read here they contained ~2.5M moving parts! Marvellous. https://www.nasa.gov/pdf/566250main_2011.07.05%20SHUTTLE%20ERA%20FACTS.pdf https://i.imgur.com/hIU7snb.jpg Image credit: https://www.nasa.gov/centers/marshall/history/this-week-in-nasa-hi...

Re: How to clean the MG2 ?
3 screws in the front, surrounding the dangerous end. Take them out, pull barrel forward. ^ +1. Go further and cleaning the elevator, etc is a bit of a crap-shoot; more moving parts than the space-shuttle (thankfully no o-rings involved). I've done the old and new models before. Goes something like...

Subtraction technologies (CNC routing) have been used successfully for years for grip manufacture. Rink offers a service where a grip is fitted using a temporary putty (skilled work), scanned with a 3D LIDAR scanner, and the reproduced as a complete piece with a CNC router. It isn't enough to scan a...

Re: Thumbs Down ?????
A pistol grip is a mixture between a cylindrical and spherical grip. I have read (and heard) that a spherical grip is the ideal human interface device for fine control, but has practical limitations for pistol shooting. The Анатолий Поддубный article (http://targettalk.org/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=57...

Machine translation has its limits, as you have found. Here is a complete machine translation. All credit to the Author: Анатолий Поддубный Perhaps we could discuss this piece, and the parts of the text not understood. The handle is a constructive element of a sports pistol. Consider it as an elemen...

I have had good luck with a sharpened nail held in some vicegrips - go easy. It takes ages: a process best enjoyed with a movie.

No, it is an open competition. Perhaps interestingly there have been a number of shooters that have successfully competed at the highest level into their 70s.

Re: Value of Walther ???
Hard to say with an older model, I would be inclined to price it around the value of a LP-1P or P30/34 of similar condition.
$750-$950 is about all I would offer for it otherwise could get into a 162EI or a LP10 for not much more.

Sight picture, and trigger control. Watch the sights, but don't admire them.

Yep, slightly more cognitive burden but some benefits also. If you like it, do it.

Re: Trouble when attempting to charge Air Tanks for PCP.
I have found that blowing from the lower part of the chest (in the deep diaphragm) can help; be sure to pace yourself. Or a SCUBA tank, for clean/dry air. There are some cute C/F wrapped tanks available, but steel is real. A fire department will have BA filling facilities - box of beers should get y...

Re: Walther GSP Trouble Shooting?
If it got better with oil on the bullets then check for carbon ring in chamber, I had trouble with that in the past. Real easy way to check is to drop a good quality (to dimension) cartridge into the chamber and it should just fall in and seat. I've also have had trouble with a sludged up magazine. ...

Hi, and welcome! Yeah I have some experience with them. A friend of mine owns one. It seems okay - shoots fine. Outstanding issues? There were some early issues with them in that the thread on the regulator/bottle was fine and was prone to galling in the adapter. This seems to be resolved now. They ...
