Re: Great Indoor Pellet Trap
Great idea. I'm looking to try it out myself. What exactly is the purpose of cutting the holes? It looks to me like you just ended up cutting the entire area out anyway.

Re: What happened to the NRA Smallbore National Championship
I didn't go for a few reasons. Yes the dwindling attendance and not being at Perry played a small part. But the main reason was cost!! $335 to shoot the four days of position. Add on top of that ~$400 for ammo and ~$150 for gas and your looking at nearly $900 for one match!! I live about an hour fro...

Umm… not trying to step on any toes here, but what exactly does this have to do with introducing more kids to the shooting sports ?

Re: Cheek pieces - best design?
I have the Grunig Black II that came with my Hybrid 3000 and I love it. It takes a little getting used to but the adjustability is great. The surface is a little slippery especially if you're sweating but it's nothing that a little moleskin can't fix. You can fine adjust both horizontally and vertic...

Re: My KK500 has arrived (in California)
You are going to LOVE that close loading port in prone!! You may even wonder how you ever shot prone without it. It does take some getting used to but it is far and away my favorite feature on my Grunig. Not lifting my elbow has noticeably improved my NPA and scores.

New Walther KK500???
I can't find any info on it anywhere. Their website doesn't even hint at it. It looks like the stock will accept and be set up for both left and right actions. I found some video of it also but couldn't get it to post here. http://i1363.photobucket.com/albums/r718/Gru3816/F5FE1CD0-BD6E-4D11-BCBF-344...

Re: Kneeling roll filler?
The cork will slowly break down. It may not be very noticeable at first but it will eventually become an issue with maintaining a consistent NPA. The plastic BBs are just right. Fairly cheap too if you get them in the large bulk packs.
Thanks for the help!

Kneeling roll filler?
I've recently picked up 10 new kneeling rolls for our junior team but I've hit a bit of a snag. I want to remove the cork filler and replace it with the little plastic injection pellets but the person I usually get those from no longer has acces to them. I am wondering if the plastic BBs that are us...

Re: Bleiker and Grünig versus Anschütz
There is also the fact that in the USA there is an attitude that if it doesn't say Anschütz on it somewhere it isn't worth the money. I've seen people look at everything from rifles to bipods and turn them away the instant they see a comparable Anschütz product. Doesn't make any sense to me. FWB, Wa...

Re: Looking for a club in northern Indiana (South Bend area)
We shoot indoor 4P Smallbore (we're mostly highpower shooters trying to get through the winter, so we include a sitting stage), twice a month at the Elkhart Rifle & Pistol Club, on Saturday mornings. On the other Saturdays, we also mix in rimfire sporter and smallbore prone. Here's some info: h...

Re: UH OH!!!
Thanks for the help guys! I ended up using a belt and shot about as expected for taking a year off. It wasn't world class shooting by any means but it definitely made for a fun weekend to see that I could still shoot a somewhat respectable score after so much time away. I'm still trying to figure ou...

UH OH!!!
Hello all, On a whim I decided that I'm going to compete in my first Air rifle match in over a year. I've been primarily shooting 50m prone instead. I've encountered a bit of a problem though. I no longer fit my pants!!! It seems I've added a few inches around my belly in the last year. I can get th...

$50 if you can tell me where I am. My best guess is that I'm probably not where I'm supposed to be.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will try to get some pictures hopefully this weekend. I no longer have access to a coach so I have have been trying to figure it out mostly on my own through dry firing on Scatt and putting shots down range. I think that my wrist is pretty straight but perhaps the pictu...

LOP and wrist pain
Hey guys, I've been shooting a lot of 50m prone lately and have been trying to set up my new rifle. It is more front heavy that my previous gun, which I like, but I think that is causing my problem. I've been working at it for several months but no matter what I do I am getting pain in my wrist/fore...

They are nice rifles. I used to shoot a 4-P league with a junior that shot one. I had never heard of it before but it seemed to shoot just fine. I know weihrauch is somewhat popular in airgun though. From what I saw it would be a good junior gun. The stock had good adjustability while staying simple...

Stock setup chart and tips
Hello all, I recently purchased a new rifle and I am finding that trying to set up the stock for three separate positions is more difficult than I think it should be. I am wondering if anyone has any tips or suggestions as to a good starting point for each position (i.e. buttplate, cheekpiece, etc.....

I ran into this problem just last week. I have recently switched to a new gun and felt this pain while trying to fine tune my stock. I also like a very tight position and discovered that if you cant the rifle inwards this will force your hand to be straighter without sacrificing too much sling tensi...
