Re: Bursitis

People complain at the NRA ,
but I tell him " you know what, if I take first place then argue about it,
leave me alone and let me shoot".

They're pretty much lousy Shooters anyway, relying on this straight jacket of a Coat to hold them up.

Re: Bursitis

Went to the doctor today and he gave me my options. I chose the drainage and the injection of the steroid. He didn't have trouble with me Shootin in 2 weeks provided I use the foam donut, that I described to him. However it's mighty sore right now and I was not sore before the visit to the office. H...

Bursitis

Hey you older long-term shooters out there........

What do you do about the onset of bursitis, especially for the longer prone strings?

It has come upon me suddenly and I'm not prepared for this. (swelling, pain).

and "RICE" dont help much........

Thank you,
Regards,

Re: Front heavy or Back Heavy Air Rifle

I have to add the weight to the butt because
of the ( ! ) trend toward truck axle barrels . (rant).
A lot of strain and fatigue .....

Re: cleaning

The newest nano grease I found attracts barely anything,
that is, if you try to wipe it off its still there, acting as a lube.
Acts much different than traditional long molecule grease.

Re: cleaning

Riddle me this.... If shooters get all exorcized about letting the cleaning rod touch the crown , Why do they think that pulling a dirty rope across the crown...... ( because you cannot guarantee a perpendicular pull), .......across the crown embedded with bits of glass, carbon, and other trash is h...

Mineral oil always oxidizes and causes a varnish mess.
Get yourself some 100% synthetic.

I myself think you have the head tilted forward a wee too much.
The rest of the stance looks very stable.
