Question on Aiming / Lowering onto the Aiming Zone - Air Pistol
Lately , I have these questions on the captioned : I am shooting in the following way : Lowering from top of the black at 12 o'clock , I will start preloading on the trigger , gradually increase pressure on the trigger , keeping a good sight picture , until I land at the zone below the black at 6 o'...

Re: Aiming or Triggering
Immediately after I posted the topic , I went into the following experiment : firstly , I increased the trigger weight on the 2nd stage ; while settling in the aiming zone , I loaded into the 2nd stage , keeping a good sight picture (since there is no perfect one) , I kept the pressure on the trigge...

Aiming or Triggering
Lately , this old question came up again : in the aiming area below the 6 , split second prior to release , aiming comes first or triggering comes first ? Since all of us know that our mind cannot do 2 things at the one time , the shifting of either of the these 2 could result a off-center shot. Wou...

Grip size comparison between Rink & Morini
Hi , switching to shoot a Morini 162ei , feel that the the volumn hold of the factory grip is a bit too bulky , seems too much to grind out though , wondering if a Rink for Morini of the same size is smaller than the factory's ; which they do in the Steyr grips. Appreciate all inputs.

Front Sight Picture or Trigger Management
Lately , I have come across this subject : at the below 6 aiming zone - the last seconds before the release , one should put his full focus at the front sight - (some shooters have been exclaiming FRONT SIGHT ONLY , FRONT SIGHT ONLY) , or put his full focus on the trigger execution - (these shooters...

Re: Steyr LP10 barrel shroud weights?
Brian , I have been looking after them on my 3 LP10s , keep rubbing off the rust & oiling them. What's wrong to see where to get those stainless steel weights ~! Wow, you have enough backup guns in case one should fail during a match! Have you thought about electroplating the weights with nicke...

Width at where ? I had no problem going through a equipment check ?Zeddsded wrote:One thing to watch for with the Rink grip is its width. My LP10E failed a dimension check and I had to do a serious amount of power sanding to get it within tolerance.
Best check yours before going to a competition.

I agree with Leon. Yet , the support plank at the base is a bit short on the Rink , modification might be needed.

Trying on the Rink from your college team will answer my opinion on the fit. I think you will like it. Today , I put the Rink on the LP10 , with adjustment on the mid finger & overhang , it felt good.

Re: Aftermarket Steyr AP Grips For Short Fingers?
Removing or whittling the metal plate , might create some woobling , pls be careful. Thinning the wood in the web would help , but a small amount , do it carefully , that area is thin. Some people totally take off the screws at the rear.

I have the exact same problem & experience with my short trigger finger , & have been struggling with this problem for almost 2 years. I shoot Steyr 10 & 10E. In late last nov , I bought 2 rink grips , I received them almost mid feb. No to mention further fitting the grip ; when compared...

How to clean air pistol grips
On the newly received Rink grip , used on the Steyr LP10e for 2 weeks already , I have come to this question : may be due to its lighter color , the sweat left on the grip is becoming rather noticeable , not to mention its affecting the firmness of the hold , I would appreciate your inputs on how to...
