Re: Walther LP 400

Contact Janet Raab at Walther usa. She is very helpful and will take care of you. She expedited a repair on my lp400 carbon so I could finish our shooting season.

Thanks David for the info. I bought mine over this past summer in 2013. Not sure how to tell what the year of manufacture is. I do know the serial #. I imagine this is a symptom that hopefully champ choice will know what to do.

Firing Problems with LP400 Carbon

Hello All, Has anyone had an issues with their LP400 firing? Last night at practice, I experienced what I percieve to be a double burst of air, or maybe a lag with the burst itself. It is hard to tell exactly, but it happens every fourth to fifth shot. I can feel it throughout the grip, and once I e...

Thanks for the advice. Earl changed out the firing pin for me. We'll see what happens. As a precaution I ordered a couple of 8 round mags. I will start loading a dummy round in first, so I don't run the risk anymore.

trooperjake, How hard is it to change? I see a couple of pins that seem to hold it together. I'll keep in mind those caps you speak of. My problem seems to be the occasional accidental dry fire, when I try to shoot 6 rounds in a timed fire string, not thinking, so the snap caps can't save me there. ...

Thanks for the responses. Dr. Jim, would that piece of wire tie, prevent the bolt from going into battery during regular use? I am unfortunately stuck with the 5 round magazines also. I am hoping I got a fluke firing pin. It really stinks to doubt your equipment after having it for 2 months. The fir...

GSP Expert Firing Pin Failure

Hello everyone, It has been a month or so since I have had my GSP Expert in 22lr from Earl's. About a week ago I started having problems with misfires and failure to go into battery. Upon inspection I noticed that the firing pin was broke in half. Called Earl and he is going to replace it for me. He...

Went with the gsp expert. I am so far very happy with it. Recoil is straight back and very light. By far the best target gun i havr ever shot. Even though it.has a slightly different rake and angle, i love the way the.grips feel. Gun fits me like a glove. The first stage on the trigger has barely an...

Thanks for all your advice guys. It is greatly appreciated. Anyone of you wouldn't happen to be located near New Hampshire would you? I am trying to track down a couple of people who have these guns to try them. Definately has to be the hardest decision I have made in while. Spoke to Earl about the ...
