Upon further examination of the image, I conclude that the shot hole is in the ten-ring, but it is not an inner ten.

From the monitor behind the shooter showing a rapid fire target, the inner-ten shot hole looks to be of centre-fire calibre - if the target is at 25m (if the target is closer, it could be a .22 hole). That is a monster size magazine though, just to be .22 caliber!

If you are shooting to ISSF rules, it seems the outward gauge is used for scoring rings 2 to 10 (6.7.15.6) and the inward gauge is used for scoring inner tens and ring 1 (6.7.15.4).

Nice shooting, indeed, but interesting to note that the top junior, Lukas Grunder, not only posted a higher score for the 60-shot match than any of the 'senior' shooters, but also fired a perfect 100 on one target.

Perhaps it is helpful to explain how scoring is carried out in Canada at ISSF matches (at least to the National level): Except for the 25 m Rapid Fire Pistol event and for the Finals, scoring is done by the competitors.
