Light vs Heavy Pellets
My GUN shoots heavy pellets better than light. I shoot light pellets better than heavy. My assumption is that the heavy pellets still have a slight recoil that causes some stringing if my grip differs while the light pellets have less of this effect. For now I will shoot the light version as they al...

LP2 is essentially a continue version of LP1. As for Benelli Kite, if the Italian World Cup/Olympics contingent dump their Benelli and only use them for their national or regional championship, you know something is lacking there. The pistol has not won anything important (ie, world class event tha...

Outdoor Sight Adjustment Knobs
I see many guns do not have knobs that adjust with fingers like Morini CM84E. Since I do adjust my sights especially with changing light with 50M pistol, I wonder why some makers make you use a screwdriver instead of knobs that work with fingers. My question: Am I in the minority by adjusting my sig...

Since you have owned both, are the sights on the FPM made the same as on the PGP 75? I bought a PGP 75 for a backup gun but the sights seem to be made out of stamped sheet metal as opposed to machined. I am in the shopping mode for a new FP and I think that the FPM is the only currently made free pi...

I don't know if you need a spare, but I have had my pistol lose air twice in important matches. I bought a bunch of o rings and will take my trust IZH 46 with me when I attend something like a State match in the future. I don't know about a Morini, but the valve on a Steyr can be accessed fairly rap...

Owners of Pardini PGP 75 -lands question
I just bought a PGP 75 and was surprized when I looked down the barrel to see the most shallow of lands that I have ever seen on any .22 barrel in my life. I am pretty sure that it is not possible to shoot one out, but they are so shallow that at first glance they appear gone. I also don't think it ...

Is a standard ball cap not legal?
I see lots of people wearing goofy looking visors on the ISSF channel.
Is it a style thing or all that is permitted?

My Hammerli cylinders have the date of manufacture on them from 2004. In 2002 I am not sure if anybody worried about expiration after 10 years. I would contact Pardini. If you bought expired cylinders, I would call the place you bought them from and get a refund. If they won't, call your credit card...

Clean but cheap ammo for free pistol?
I currently am using Eley Target for free pistol. It does cause some unburned powder to get in the action and trigger. Is there any favorites in this department? Wolf does not want to come out of my 150 and CCI does not want to go in. I did shoot some Federal Champion that seemed OK as far as functi...

Morini 84E questions
I am currently using a Hammerli 150 and was wondering about making a purchase of something newer. I have a few questions about the 84E. Does the compensator cake up with lead, and if so is it east to clean? Does the watch battery conversion work as well as it is intended? Are there any weaknesses to...

Adidas Powerlift 2.0 shoes
I recently received some Adidas Powerlift 2.0 shoes. I think they make a difference. They have a flat sole and very little cushion. I was unaware how much movement there is from normal athletic shoes "give" during the constant balance process of simply standing. Maybe I was just having a g...

I have a Hammerli 480 converted to AP40. It is a really good air pistol. I have shot my personal best (569) with it. It is now out to be hopefully fixed with a 10-12 week estimated turnaround. I just bought a Steyr for the fact that I assume that I can get better turn around than that, plus I can ha...
