LP10 Erratic Velocity
My LP10 whacked out for a while. It shot from 610-58 feet per second. I initially thought that my chronograph was bad, but the report and the 58 fps that bounced back out confirmed my readings. My I Z H shot its normal velocity too. Now my LP is back to a steady low 540 with R10 pistol like nothing ...

Who went to a compact AP from a full size?
The reason I ask: I was looking at a Bullseye forum, and the consensus was that a 5 inch barrel was more forgiving than a 6". The opinion was that if your follow through was less than perfect, the long barrel would punish you more. Now I realize that most of those guys are shooting dots, so the...

Re: Starter Air Pistol
Hah. I remember back in the day, buying two APs from a dealer there. He couldn't sell locally without permits, but had NO problem shipping them to New York. Thing to do is, email the dealer directly (PM) and tell him you have cash. Screw ebay for their cut. I tried that. I got a warning from eBay f...

Re: SWC in M52?
Holy smokes! I probably won't be doing much with my 52. I only have 2 magazines and my quest to buy two more is pretty bleak. They were $25 ten years ago, now they are $175 -$325!

Re: Starter Air Pistol
I thought the LP 10 on eBay was a good deal, but the eBay police think Minnesota is restricted to not allow air guns, so my bid was cancelled. I hope someone here got it.

Re: RWS - source?
I once took a S&W41 frame and put it in a Ransom Rest. I ran though four different barrels (2 short, 2 long) and every kind of ammo I could find. No two barrels were as accurate using the same ammo, and some brands would not reliably function. Now I just use CCI Standard Velocity because I can ...

I bought my last case of it from Neal Stepp.

Re: SWC in M52?
I think I would give the open end just enough taper to feed. The overall length of the SWC I have is less than a 148 WC, so powder space will actually be more. The only downside I see is the 1/4" extra bullet jump. In the next month as time frees up, I will be trying
this.
this.

Re: SWC in M52?
Three reasons. Less lead used. My "lifetime" supply of wheel weights might not outlive me now. I have a six cavity mold. Maybe less recoil. I can't imagine a 125gr producing more pressure than a 148gr seated to the same depth. Just thought that I can't be the first one to think about tryin...

The one EBay is a Large original grip, as I suspected. An additional photo was added this morning.

SWC in M52?
I have several molds for 9mm that cast big enough for 38sp.
Has anyone tried a load that shoots a 125gr SWC deep seated instead of the usual 148?

Re: Starter Air Pistol
Comparing it with mine, the grip appears to be a large. Mine fits well with a 93mm palm size.

Re: Starter Air Pistol
If i found a LP10 used, can it be wore out? There is one on ebay that has stickers on it from around the world. I would happily pay it's current price. The grips look like they have never been carved on or puttied. The stickers just show it has been used in competition. Any needed seals are readily...

Re: Starter Air Pistol
Where do you buy a LP2? The LP2 can be purchased from Pilkguns, but is twice your budget. I am personally soured on Hämmerli/Umarex service. Try calling them sometime, or email them with any general question, you'll see what I mean. I have an IZH 46 that I think is a very nice shooting gun for the ...

Re: Who has Rink grips on their Toz35M?
I now know why Rink only uses one screw for each panel. Toz frames are not very consistent. I bought a second one, and it looks like a blacksmith made the grip frame. My prior grips won't come close to fitting. It might well be easier to make the grip frame fit the Rink grips that the other was arou...
