Re: Gehmann Trap Reviews?
Since you ask: "I do not now where to get rags. I am still wearing shirts from 1986. When do you know when it is no longer effective, when you see a group of holes in your sheet rock? What kind of depth do I need with these rags? How many pounds of lead do you have in this box when you are don...

Re: Shooting from a rest.
Try to not be so precise. Staring at your sights for a long period of time, while holding your breath, makes you groups bigger. The first look you get at your sights, in under 5-6 seconds, is all you need to press the trigger and get a surprise break. Put your gun in some kind of a sand bag so it ca...

There have been many similar threads here on this subject. I fail to see why many are opposed to this simple solution: BOX O' RAGS 1) Free 2) No lead dust 3) No noise 4) No cleanup 5) Improves with use 6) Instant disposal or recycle after two cases (not sleeves) of pellets 7) Did I mention FREE I d...

Dry fire until you can break the trigger without seeing any movement in your sight picture. If you can do that, you will be ahead of the game.

Re: LP10 Erratic Velocity
For what its worth, I too have been lubricating my fill tank threads, and often. My seals were dry.
I think unless you are putting oil directly into the 2 inlet holes, you may not be getting as much lube on your regulator piston seals as you would hope for.

If it ever becomes a paperweight, tear into it and determine what o-ring is leaking. At that point you have nothing to lose, and your replacement is available at McMaster Carr.

You may possibly had the same issue I had. See my post under a similar title.

Re: LP10 Erratic Velocity? Fixed!
After I had wild variations, as above, I cycled my regulator by taking the cylinder on and off. It finally calmed down and ran with an 13 fps variance. Good enough to get by. I did notice that whenever I put a cylinder on, I was hearing a squeaky sound. My suspicion was that the o- rings in the regu...

Re: Who has Rink grips on their Toz35M?
got a question about the toz35 Rink grips: when you buy a new set, do they come with all the screws? or do you have to use the original screws the toz came with? I haven't received mine yet, but the screws are standard 3mm screws that can be purchased at your local hardware store. Just pick a lengt...

Re: Revisiting Benelli Kite Service
I don't know about your particular pistol, but a Steyr is mostly standard size O rings.
Maybe it is possible to fix it yourself, or you could try Buck at Pilkington and see if he works on those. I have to think the principle of operation is similar.
At least you have a backup.

It works, and works well. Once you screw the cylinder so far in, it opens up the that little valve.F/V Icy Swan wrote: ↑Mon Jan 11, 2021 1:01 pm David, that is a brilliant suggestion. I am at work but will try it tonight. Thanks.

Re: SWC in M52?
That sure became a better post from its original. I have have personally had the opposite problem with leading. A fast twist, like a 1-9 seems to be more prone to leading in my experience. A 1-14 twist would be my preference if I could pick one. I do have some HBWC that are a no name that do not hav...

Re: Dry firing during match?
No dry fire during Finals. But, hopefully you'll have your shit together by then. I frequently dry-fire during a match, especially after a bad shot or one not to call. If I don't, I'm likely to repeat the problem. Yes, I have been known to shoot a cloverleaf of liner 9/8s if I don't fix my problem.

Dry firing during match?
I don't see it anywhere in the ISSF rules.
If I am suffering trigger issues, can I dry fire in the middle of a match?

It also takes a special kind of person to accept that trying anything new is a waste of time. I am sure there were people who thought indoor plumbing was a waste of time too. The bullet jump from case to rifling isn't any greater that out of a revolver. Who decided that the 38 special had to only us...

Gehmann Trap Reviews?
Who has the Gehmann Trap with the spring loaded backplate?
The trap I currently use has a small amount of dust that shows on the front of it shooting 525 fps.
Does the spring plate stop the dust?

It seems to working again, but it hasn't sat for more than 3 days. I don't don't think 58 or 610 fps is ever normal.

Re: Walther LP200 air pistol - Pressure Regulator
Bernardo, I know this is an old post. I am thinking that your regulator might be configured correctly. Don't you have a velocity adjusting screw that varies how much force is applied to the spring that opens your valve? More spring pressure opens the valve longer for more velocity as opposed to chan...

Re: SWC in M52?
For those interested, I did load some Lee 9mm 125 in my S&W 52-2.
They shot 4-5 inch groups at 50 yards for 10 shot groups. There were other factory HBWC that actually did worse. I haven't given up on the concept, and will try other 125-135 in the future.
