Re: LP2 trigger anomaly
If you get too far into the weeds for some reason, the below setup by David M is spot on IMO.

Re: LP2 trigger anomaly
If I recall correctly, and it's been a while, once I gave the sear a little more engagement, I had to back off the trigger weight screws. It's as if I had the weight screws set up to compensate for the fact the sear was on the edge, and once it broke, the trigger kicked back. It didn't take much mor...

Re: LP2 trigger anomaly
I haven't had this problem on my Steyr, but vaguely remember it with my Hämmerli. As I recall, I added just a slight bit more of sear engagement to fix it. That's the screw that is painted red, aka the "don't adjust" screw.

Re: Morini Air Piatol question - trigger
If the person selling you something tells you to take a lesser cost option, I would heed that advise, be it a steak or air pistol. Their usual incentive is to up sell, unless they think the customer will be disappointed. Does the 200 have some better technology, other than being a new model that mak...

Call Jennifer at Pilkinton. Whatever they charge is cheap. Sights are one area that I don't file. Everytime you look at it you think it isn't square, even if it actually is.

Re: Pellet performance vs cost
I like 7 grain pellets. My rational is lower recoil, and faster acceleration for a shorter barrel time. These two come into play especially with a poorly triggered shot.
Probably doesn't matter, but most of this game is in my head, and the placebo effect is strong.

Re: Advice S&W 41 vs HS Victor
My Victor has a much nicer trigger than my 41. They both have a magazine or two that will feed everything. Not every magazine is perfect with everything. My 41 eats most everything with a 7 3/8 barrel installed. The 5 1/2 is pickier. A broken Victor may stay that way until you find the right part, b...

Re: Review of Walther LP500 Expert
It's been noted that Steyr has a regulator that is relatively easy to replace as a complete unit. I noticed in an exploded diagram of the Hammerli AP-20 that the regulator also appears to be a separate, discrete unit. Can anyone confirm that this is in fact what part number 8 is with the AP-20? Dia...

Re: Who has Rink grips on their Toz35M?
Mine fit perfectly. If I could figure out how to downsize pictures I would post.
Did you request regular fit, or full fit, or whatever the call it that moves your hand back 5mm?

Re: Review of Walther LP500 Expert
I just looked at the exploded view of the LP2. The regulator looks identical to the LP10, as does the firing valve. Nothing could be simpler to fix. Below is a video that shows how it comes apart. You don't really need to remove the barrel, but it makes it easier. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=w5v3l...

Re: Review of Walther LP500 Expert
I think Champion's Choice serviced Walthers. At least at one time, worked on one of mine. Thanks. I'm weighing options to replace my Kite. I'm 71, but hope to live long enough to see another regulator go bust over time like the Kite did. The idea of having another regulator and/or repair service on...

Re: Rink grip sizes
I got Rinks on my Toz. My hand is 93mm and the large fits me exactly in the middle of the adjustment. Had they been to big, I was going to glue felt on the palm shelf. Had the been too small, I was going to sand and stipple. Luckily they fit perfect.

Re: Review of Walther LP500 Expert
Sometime call Walther / Umarex customer service for your entertainment. See what your impression is. I tried calling 3 times to find out about a Walther product currently on their own website, the FP500. Nobody knew?!? I got passed around and finally disconnected twice. The third time I went to a vo...

Re: Revisiting Benelli Kite Service
Yes, the Steyr regulator comes out as a unit. I bought a spare to have, and fixed my own by simply taking it apart and lubing the o-rings. Our host will rebuild yours for $75. After taking it apart, and cleaning the firing valve too, I can sure appreciate the simplicity of the Steyr, even though I n...

Steyr LP10 Mechanical. Not only does it feel good, with a great trigger, but it also feels good knowing that I can change all the seals myself, and if I couldn't, there are US parts and service available. I recently ordered spares and had them in two days from order. My other AP experiences where ei...
