Just FYI----they also call the TOZ35M and the IZH35 crudely built guns---and they are just that. But these two guns have been beating the rest of the world to death for the better part of 35+years.

Pardon me for interjecting an unsolicited opinion.---but if you are contemplating either of these guns---I would suggest you read some of the posts regarding either of these two guns. From my personal experience with the MG-2, and what I am reading here three+ years later---STAY AWAY FROM IT. As to ...

Mine is an Walther KSP200- not much difference from the original Izzy. I got mine with a set of magazines that were not Walther, but original Izzy and they had to be "adjusted" ( futz around with) to work properly with the Walther. A couple of points---(1) take the mag apart (it's easy) ; ...

I do not like to talk too much re:Morini----he is a genius amongst gun designers---however, most of his products are unbelievable engineering nightmares with more issues than a herd of dogs infested with fleas. Some guns require a wee bit of tinkering---the CM22, MG-2, FP-10 etc. are examples of gun...

Especially Mike in the four second strings. I have seen some local RF shooters (540+ w. .22 shorts) shoot 460+ with the .22lr---SP20's, 280's, 208S, Pardini SP, IZH35, Walther KSP200, Walther GSP, S&W 41 and Hi-Standard Supermatic Trophy with fluted barrel, weights & comp. The best I saw was...

Don't you just love it when things come together. Not so much in AP but in FP, there are those days (many) when the shots look like a shotgun target, and there are those days when everything is in the black. I am elated (infrequently) when I call a ten and yep there it is. About that "rusty mec...

Not surprising at alll---Morini ( Matchguns?) makes beautiful pistols with the necessary adjustments etc. etc---trouble is they don't shoot worth a damn. The infamous CM22 and the MG-2 are prime examples of his Inventiveness and failure to produce a reliable firearm. I was in love with mine---grips,...

Women are also out of competition in FP as well---I am no bleeding feminist but this is again the sexist approach to sports that has existed since Victorian times.

I've got to go along with David. We (sic) almost lost RF, and a couple of air events if not the whole shooting match (pun). Once you ask for that, then the cry for CF & WSP. As it stands the women only shoot air events , shotgun as the Olympic committee continues to think of women as drawing roo...

The biggest things to avoid IMHO are the sugars and/or carbohydrates that increases your blood glucose level. As an low level type 2 diabetic, I find that when my blood glucose level is too high---the "wobble zone" is absolutely mind boggling. On the contrary when my blood glucose is 80-10...

Here we go again---"every gun will arrive with it's own issue of the user's manual"----This is an interesting gun, there have been zero comments posted over the year of testing. The testers must have been very carefully chosen and given tight lips orders from Ulm. I must commend Walther fo...

I wouldn't use Aquila in anything but my plinkers. It has had a horrible record around these parts for a while now. Most pistol shooters avoid it like the plague. The terms good but inexpensive are oxy-morons IMHO---they don't exist any more. Remington Target has long proved itself to very unreliabl...

Personally I have been a fan of RWS Target Rifle ammo---(which I believe is really a pistol ammo in disguise). I use it in my Pardini SP and in all of my FPistols from the old TOZ---Hammerli 160 Special---New TOZ. I have tried JAGD Pistol Match which is greasier than ELEY Ten-X and Pistol Match IMHO...

I have no experience with rifle--but with AP that's another story. I have no idea what he (?) means by long shots.. But by some guesswork he might refer to shots that come after an inordinate time---similar to just holding and holding until you snap one off in despiration. Your best bet is to work o...
